South Texas is where I'm joining in from, and learning more is exciting. The GLP-1 journey started recently with Reta, though bio-hacking and longevity have held my interest for ages, and a medical background is part of the picture too. The age where diet and exercise alone stop cutting it has finally arrived.
Reta was taken low and slow — sub-clinical dosing to begin with, staying at low levels throughout. Target weight came in about 6 weeks (same diet and exercise regimen as always), and right now I'm off it and watching for any rebound gain. Alcohol lost its appeal immediately, beer with dinner being the usual before, so that alone likely helped some of the weight come off.
Testing on myself caught on with those around me, so a little community is slowly being built. Seeing the variance in dose needed before effects and weight loss kick in has been interesting. Being a hyper-responder keeps my costs low, which is a happy thing!
