Hi all,

I'm a 48-year-old man based in Melbourne, Australia, and I'm just starting (or rather continuing) my peptide journey for weight loss and health. Peptides are brand new to me, though I’ve come across from Mounjaro, on which I dropped about 16kg.

Here's what I've ordered, with sizes in (mg):

Reta 1x RT10

BPC-157 1x BC10

Semax – 1x XA10

GHK-CU – CU100

MOTS-C 1x MS10

Bac water 1x WA10

I'm still finding my feet with peptides, so guidance from the more experienced members here would mean a lot. Anything you can help with on the following would be great:

• how to dilute

• where to start on dose

• how often to pin

• when or how to step the dose up

• how long each peptide should run before a cycle break

Keen to learn, and to hear how other people lay out their protocols.

Separately, two days ago I was told surgery may be needed to take out my gallbladder because of gallstones. Right now I'm looking into whether peptides like BPC-157 can help with inflammation or recovery for digestive problems.

Has anyone here used BPC-157 (or other peptides) for gallbladder or digestive problems?

Also curious whether anyone has seen circulation or varicose vein improvements from BPC-157 or other peptides.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share what they know.

Hey man,

if you look around Reddit forums, you'll get a sense of how the majority of folks actually use these peptides in everyday practice.

My broad recommendation: begin at the smallest dose you can and raise it gradually.

With Retatrutide in particular, starting low and holding at that level for as long as you can is really crucial. The moment hunger starts creeping back is the only signal to bump it up. That's the core rule.

As for MOTS-C, the approach hinges on your objective. People run it in a few different ways, and the goal shapes which one fits.

Another thing — stacking a bunch of peptides simultaneously isn't wise. Begin with 1, or 2 at the very most, so you can tell what each one is contributing.

And a key question: what are you mainly after with these peptides? What's driving you to use them in the first place?

It's a decent database for looking up various peptides, how they work, and general info. Just remember it's meant for research/educational use, not medical guidance.

Greetings from Melbourne — and nice work dropping 16 kg while on Mounjaro; that gives you a solid base to move forward from.

That lineup you've put together is no small thing, and it's smart that you're gathering info before going all in. Plenty of folks trip up by stacking everything from day one, yet you'll likely benefit more if you bring items in one at a time, because that way you can see which compound is actually responsible for what.

On its own, Reta already hits hard for fat loss — particularly when you're transitioning off tirz/Mounjaro — so a lot of people choose to get that settled first prior to adding MOTS-C or GHK-Cu on top.

Given the gallbladder issue plus broader GI inflammation, BPC-157 is likely the most applicable item on your list. There is plenty of anecdotal chatter about gut support and inflammation, but it still can't replace proper medical treatment — particularly when surgery is on the table. Even so, you'll come across a fair number of members here who have tried it for digestive problems.

As for circulation/varicose veins — the picture looks mixed. A portion of users mention gains in inflammation and recovery, but it isn't regularly described as a solution aimed at vein problems in particular.

Semax sits in a somewhat separate bucket (leaning cognitive), while GHK-Cu leans toward the skin/repair angle, so typically those get added when there's a specific aim rather than as part of a broad stack.

Zooming out, the guidance you'll see echoed most often around here:

  • begin with the basics
  • monitor your response
  • make changes gradually
  • avoid altering several factors at the same time
Your starting point is strong and your attitude going in looks right. Keep posing questions and posting updates along the way — that's how most members here work out what genuinely helps.

Good to have you here 👊
