Hello from Canada's Vancouver Island. Several weeks back I registered, and at last I'm getting around to this intro.
My 30's marked the start of a long fight with my weight, but the situation truly spiraled once I entered full menopause in 2020.
What's odd is that at that very point I was exercising a lot and eating better than ever before, yet it now looks confirmed to me that neither my food choices nor portion sizes can move the needle on losing weight… which is why peptides have caught my attention.
After years of struggling, my mother at last found something that worked for her weight, a GLP-1/combo, and I now hold a prescription of my own.
The problem: in BC weight loss isn't covered, and since I'm on disability, affording it monthly isn't realistic… so I'm digging into everything I can find.
This community comes across as genuinely supportive, and I appreciate how carefully it's been structured and the cheeky (allegedly) foolproof style of the writing that keeps the site both legitimate and running.
Looking forward to being around here more soon!
