Hey everyone! Life threw some things my way, and at 6’2” I ended up at 320lbs. Along with a few health problems, that made it clear it was time to shed some pounds. Roughly two years back I started a job that involves a ton of walking — around 12+ miles each night. Between changing my diet and all that walking, I did lose some weight. For whatever reason, though, I’ve been stuck at 276 — that number just won’t budge. On top of that, always having food on my mind is a real struggle. So I’m here, and on other places too, looking into things.

Glad to have you here! Based on what you're describing, Tirz or Reta seems like the right path. As I understand it, Tirz does more to quiet food noise, which is the reason I picked it instead of R. Wishing you the best, man — may you hit every goal you've set and end up renaming yourself just DaddyJ 😂

Have you had a blood panel done lately, especially for glucose and thyroid?

Are you drinking sufficient water? Food noise can also be set off by dehydration.

Should everything come back fine, peptides might be worth considering. Like Unclebuff said, Tirz tends to address food noise better than Reta. Semaglutide, from what I went through, also reduced the food noise. That effect stuck around for close to a year, until the noise returned. A higher dose might have done the trick, but I chose to stop since I'd hit my target (no longer pre-diabetic, down nearly 20kg, and blood glucose stayed stable and healthy across 4 months).

From what I’ve looked into, Tirz is definitely the route I’m leaning toward.

My A1C came back at 5.6, right at the borderline. All other results were fine. I drink roughly a gallon of water each day. Appreciate the feedback.
