Hey o! The Bible Belt region of the USA says hello. Bible thumping isn't my thing, but neither am I trying to be more specific than that.
One of these meds came first for me in February, through one of those traditional, much pricier telehealth companies. Learning more and seeing what other options exist that don't break the bank is why I'm here.
Thusfar, how well it's gone for me has left me genuinely stunned. Getting into one of the 2026 clinical trials for Reta that are ongoing is what piqued my interest initially, but I didn't make the cut. So I settled for Tirz, and beyond weight loss help it's had two incredible benefits. Alcohol is an issue for me, and Naltrexone came into the picture in December. That helped a lot and got me off hard alcohol, though 5 to 10 beers a week still happened. Some weeks I did better. My craving was really only killed for the first week.
Anyways, all alcohol cravings have been completely stopped by Tirz and not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips since I started it. My sleep apnea has improved a lot too. Sleep quality is greatly improved. Beyond the weight loss help, an absolute game changer.
Money is tight though, so learning what I can from others is the plan, because the telehealth route simply costs more than I can sustain.
