Hello, I started on reta not long ago, chiefly for food noise and also to manage weight in my 40s. Keeping to my ideal weight has always mattered a great deal, because even a few extra pounds make me feel physically uncomfortable. A healthy BMI means GLP drugs are not available to me, yet the bulk of my day went on thinking about what I was going to eat and when, fighting cravings, and exercising.

Having started reta, I feel as though my mind has been given back to me! The liberation is enormous.

While working out how to source reta safetly, I have been reading up on plenty of other peptides that can benefit my health in other ways, and they have me very curious too. My degree is in chemistry, so the science of it appeals. I am even considering approaching the university where I studied and worked as a research assistant in the lab, to ask whether they would let me run some peptide testing for identification/purity/contaminants/endotoxins. If I bought the instruments myself, that could probably become a decent business.

Anyway, that's me! Lovely to meet you all!

Your story rings true for me. GLP-1s came into my life while I was also in the healthy BMI range, and I had the same fight with food noise/food obsession/thinking about food all day and planning the next meal. The healthy BMI range is still where I sit, and I titrate my dose to stay there, but the food noise has gone and my mental energy now goes on better things! Seen that way, GLP-1s are almost a productivity hack haha!! Sounds like a good moment to put your chemistry degree to work on a peptide-focused business - best of luck with it all 🙂
