Thanks for adding me to the group.
Roughly three years ago I decided my health needed some changes. A visit to the doctor got me started on TRT. Improvements did show up, but the results I wanted were not there, and part of that came down to my own inconsistency and lack of commitment. At 5’10” and 265 pounds when the GLP-1s began, I am a male. Ozempic was what I took for about a year, and roughly 30 pounds came off. Tirzepatide came after that and eventually 185 pounds was where I landed. Along the way, proper protein and fiber intake was something I learned a lot about, and the gym became a big part of my life. All GLP-1 medication has now been out of my system for about seven months and around 10 pounds have returned. A few years back an accident left me with a spinal injury. More recently my back went during training, and working out has been impossible for about six of those seven months. Getting back after it is something I am ready for, and Reta has recently been started.
Learning from everyone here, sharing experiences and seeing what this group offers is what I am looking forward to.
