Hey everyone,

I'm a 33-year-old guy, just getting into GLPs and looking forward to picking up knowledge from folks walking a similar road.

Some background on me. Roughly 10 years ago I committed fully to keto and kept at it for about 7 years. Over that stretch I dropped from around 320 lbs to 200 lbs and felt fantastic.

Then life got in the way. A tough breakup hit, I slipped off keto, and gradually slid back into my old patterns. Way too many pizzas, way too many late-night snacks, and plenty of emotional eating. The weight didn't return all at once, but across the following few years it gradually piled back on.

I quit stepping on the scale because I didn't want to confront what was really going on.

At some point I finally got on the scale and it read 352 lbs. That was the jolt I needed.

I got back into meal prepping and started cleaning up how I eat. It worked, but late-night snacking has always been my hardest battle. However well I ate during the day, the food noise and cravings would slam me at night.

That's how I ended up looking at GLPs.

Three weeks ago I began retatrutide at 1mg, and so far I'm down 15 lbs. The drop in food noise has been amazing. I'm beginning to notice a few cravings creeping back slightly, but next to how things used to be, it's been a massive help in managing the nonstop urge to snack.

I'm eager to meet others on similar paths, learn from the community, and swap experiences. I'm also keen to find out more about peptide safety, best practices, and ways to keep costs manageable while doing things the responsible way.

Thanks for having me.

My own path has looked a lot like yours. Keep going. Kind folks here pulled me through, and my PCP dropping me left me stuck in limbo with the system. A place like this helps every one of us.
