Hi all,
I'm a 24 year old guy living in Ireland, and the title probably gave it away — I have type one diabetes. Since GLP1s tend to be prescribed more often for type 2 diabetics, I'd really like to hear from anyone with type 1 who has taken them and learn what that was like. Keeping my HbA1c at an ideal level has always been a struggle for me, and the thought of complications developing makes me more and more anxious. Going forward, I'm keen to get both this and my weight under tighter control. Any information about shifts in insulin sensitivity, hypos, etc. would be hugely appreciated.
All the best
