Hi everyone,

My wife has been using tirz and has dropped 33lbs over 10 wks, but through Eli Lilly and UK distributors it's setting me back £260/pm — an absolute fortune.

There's still plenty I need to pick up about buying from non-UK sellers, and I'm not yet convinced it feels as safe by comparison, though the price difference is enormous. I've joined to get a better handle on how it all works and ideally work out how to arrange my own lab tests.

About me: I've always been greedy and eat out of enjoyment / boredom. That's left me a bit overweight, though I wouldn't qualify under UK obesity criteria.

I'd been thinking about Reta since it sounds even better than tirz, but it probably makes more sense to team up with my wife on tirz. I likely only need to shed 20lbs maximum to shift the dad bod, and I need to get back to the gym and lift some weights.

Good to meet you all, looking forward to working out how the forum operates and learning more

If you're after your own test results, Axiom Analytics in CZ is worth a look. It isn't free, but it's reliable and far less expensive than the alternatives.

Appreciate the tip — that’s a new name to me. Janoshik is the one I’ve come across previously, so once I feel ready to place an order I’ll dig deeper into that option. I’ve seen mentions of group testing setups where several people chip in, but my thinking is that if I’m able to purchase enough to last 6-12 months and then send 1 vial off for analysis, that would give me peace of mind that what I’ve got is safe

My sister got a lot of benefit from tirzapetide, though the usual price tag is very high. Realising you can obtain it at a comparable cost for a whole year's worth makes me far less hesitant about starting it.

Still, doing the homework to find trustworthy sellers is definitely worthwhile — you want a source that runs tests on a regular basis. Occasionally the product is overdosed, and that leads to nasty reactions when you inject far more than you believe you are, assuming it's the standard amount. If I had to choose, I'd prefer a vendor who shortchanges me rather than one who gives me too much. Even so, the work pays off.

When it comes to holding onto muscle while dropping fat, retatrutide is said to be superior, yet the reports I've come across about its downsides outnumber what I've seen for Tirz. That might just be selection biases and similar factors, so I need to dig into it further on my own. My own take is this: if the amount you need to shed is only 20lb, you're probably better off with the option that has been tested and proven more extensively.

A Janoshik reta test runs $360. Axiom charges €135. Peptide sellers operating officially in europe obtain their COa's through Axiom, and governments approve them. You mention a £260 monthly cost. Add your 1 year supply and the test together and it still comes out cheaper. The majority of people running group tests are based in US. So your plan is to join a groep, ship your sample to US, and receive results at a better price?

Wow, that is a fantastic deal. Since I will be keeping thousands in my pocket across the coming 12 months, I am glad to cover the cost of testing my own batch! Thanks for the assistance

The vendors that get promoted here tend to be fine. Working out which one is best takes some digging through reviews and discussion threads. Starting to pay via crypto is somewhat of a hassle and makes you feel like something shady is going on. Still, it is fine. Go through every warning carefully so you don't get scammed, and keep your communications secure. You have to reach out to suppliers first using their trusted links. If a supplier gets in touch with you first, cut off contact. You'll pick this up without much trouble. Once you have a COA for your sample, get in touch with your supplier, let them know you have a COA, and ask for some free products in return for making it public. In the end this benefits their business too, and you'll get something back. So remember, the supplier's name has to appear on the COA, not your own!

Joining the grey side of things — welcome aboard. My own path: Mounjaro, same as your wife, then about a month back I made the switch once my first grey order arrived. For UK-based lab work there's Peptides Verify, worth a look, though if you want any comeback on underfill, purity or endotoxins the Chinese vendors typically want Jano results. Some sellers accept more than just crypto — Western Union, Alipay and the like — but tracking those down means combing through their posts, and they aren't necessarily the cheapest option; even so, nowhere close to +£300 a month.

Assuming you've never used a GLP before, tirzepatide would be my pick since fewer side effects have been reported with it. Should the Tirz doses stop getting you anywhere, Reta becomes an option, or you could stack the two. From what people report, Reta doesn't suppress food noise to the same degree as Tirz. That said, experiences here tend to be pretty individual.

When it comes to holding onto muscle, the bigger factors are protein intake, heavy lifting or resistance work, and how fast the weight comes off.

Best of luck — the amount of info here can feel overwhelming, and that first order is always a gamble with plenty of anxious waiting.

Nice one, appreciate the guidance and the feedback! The only thing I’ve got experience with is picking up replica watches from Chinese vendors, so chatting and paying that way doesn’t feel new to me.

Honestly, I reckon you’ve got a point — if food noise is what’s tripping me up, then tirz is probably the better fit, though all the Reta buzz as some wonder drug is tough to dismiss.

I’m not clueless about eating properly, I just reach for the wrong snacks and overdo portions 😂 with any luck a small dose will get me dialled in and fired up about lifting again.

From what I gather, Hospira isn’t easy to source here in the UK, but I’ll carry on digging into it. The recent endotoxin results have me a little on edge too, though I’m hoping the newer batches come out cleaner.

When you dealt with Chinese suppliers, did they specifically ask for Jano tests, or is Jano simply the go-to because nobody looks elsewhere? I plan to send my own sample off to the lab as well, and I let my supplier know. Her response was that she would cover every cost and either replace or refund the products if purity or endotoxins came back negative. In the end, I ran a bacteria test on it myself and injected it without any further lab testing. For 7 months I had been injecting mounjaro under prescription, so I was able to compare how tirz works against mounjaro. All good.

VGPEP did have some available, though it sells out fast. Sign up for their mailing list, and you'll likely receive a notification once it's back in stock.

A few suppliers do put this forward as their reship policy, and when it comes to vendors it does look like they have cornered the market. Other labs exist too, and if what you are after is simply peace of mind, then those can perform just as well. Labs, testing methods and equipment are all hotly argued about, since even the way a sample is prepared for analysis can, on a superficial reading, change the results.

At the labo I pointed you toward, you can look up what they charge €135 to test for. Also try searching for Peptide Koning — a Dutch business that supplies the majority of official peptides in the Netherlands — and find out where the bulk of his COA's originate? In the past he had his peptides tested at Jano as well. That is no longer the case. A higher price tag or a bigger name does not automatically equal greater sophistication. Should you be after an identity check, they are able to inform you which producent made your sample too, for a reasonable fee.

No issue on my end with using different testing labs — I was simply highlighting what the vendor requires.

Speaking as an analytical chemist with a PhD who is actively working in the field, evaluating results while ignoring the instruments, sample preparation, and methodologies involved only tells part of the tale. I'm not challenging the findings, just pointing out that those figures rest on a great deal beneath the surface.

Janoshik's strong showing in double blind testing has solidified their standing, yet that doesn't rule out the existence of other labs that match or surpass them.
