To everyone on this wonderful platform, whatever time of day it is for you: hello!

I’m OriolesMagic98, though OM98 works just fine for short. Today marks a really thrilling moment for me, because I’m starting my weight loss journey. Up to now I’ve mostly been someone who quietly reads on the internet rather than someone who writes posts — that changes today! I’ve got plenty of goals, but not a lot of organization. I’m guessing a lot of us “newbies” share similar goals, since it comes up so often here. Before I dive into the world of weight loss, I’m hoping to get better organized, and I’d like to challenge you to think about — and share, if you’re comfortable — how you managed to get organized enough to begin. For me, having a plan that is organized, regimented, and solid, and that actually makes sense to me, will be the most important thing for staying with it and reaching my goal. What’s your take?

Hey OM98,

another newcomer right here. Looking at it initially can feel intimidating, but personally, I look forward to my upcoming pin. Plenty of solid apps exist to keep you organized, keep you on track, and give you reminders. Based on what I’ve noticed up to now, this forum by itself has more than enough reading material to help you get going.

Hey, I appreciate you stopping by!

I lean on a fair amount of tech to keep myself in order as well. Would you mind mentioning which apps have worked well for you? If paying for premium software means staying organized, that doesn’t bother me. I’ve absolutely made use of the reading material available here, and I’m absorbing it like a sponge. Wishing you the best as you continue!

Glad to have you here — and good luck snagging Alonso from the Mets 🤣

He has proven valuable. After the squad settles in and finds its rhythm, we ought to be fine. Nice to know there are additional baseball supporters around here.

Let’s go O’s!

Hey there! It's great that you're kicking off this journey — choosing to do this for yourself is a big move, and getting that first step behind you is something to be proud of. I'm a bit past 1 year of truly committing to my plan, keeping consistent, and letting go of excuses. Along the way, chances to give up on yourself will come up again and again, and if you want it badly enough, you'll push forward. You've got this OM98!!!!

Also new here. 1 thing I picked up fast: in discord groups everybody wants to punch their “plug”, so be careful, and if a seller messages you it is more than likely a scammer, they are everywhere. Keep one eye open and watch who you trust.
