Hey folks,
Really glad to have landed here — and how I wish I'd found this forum sooner. My day job is research chemistry (not trying to imply anything here, the work is at a contract pharma company, where analytics on my samples or anyone else's aren't something I can perform), based in New England, USA. Biohacker is a label I'd accept, and pharmaceuticals in general are definitely a hobbyist interest of mine. About a year now of using GLP1s on-and-off, and the experience has been amazing -- weight has been a lifelong struggle of mine, mostly driven by an extremely high food drive, and my relationship with food feels normal and healthy for the very first time. Lifting is another thing I do, motivated primarily by building strength; the health trade-off that comes with anabolic steroids isn't one I'll accept, though myostatin inhibitors becoming available within the coming 5 years or so is something I'm very excited for (fingers crossed!).
That's about it for me. A community resource relating to this stuff is something I've never had the benefit of, and none of my IRL friends are particularly interested in pharmaceuticals and biohacking, so chatting and getting to know folks as time allows appeals to me a lot.
That's all from me — have a great weekend everybody!
