Hey everyone, I'm Taylor, and I'm glad to have found this place!

So a bit of background: like a lot of you, weight has been a battle for me for as long as I can remember (30f). I stand 5'8, and back in 2022/ 2023 my weight hit an all-time high of 327 pounds. Mentally I was a mess (clinical depression and anx), physically things were falling apart too (high bp / cholesterol / pre diabetes), and honestly I had zero passion for living. During that stretch I wasn't someone fun or good to be around, and covid only made everything worse. Luckily, I managed to learn a lot of lessons about who I am, how I relate to food, how I relate to others, and most importantly how I relate to God. Things gradually began to improve, and in 2024 I finally qualified for the gastric sleeve, which I was grateful for. Back then I knew nothing about peps or any other options, and I was hoping the surgery would give me the push I needed. After it, I dropped about 72 and married the love of my life at 255 pounds. Then by 2025 I had put back on roughly 20 pounds, which brought me to 275.

That became my new normal and my weight basically stalled there until I began Reta earlier this year. My Reta journey started in April / May. I'm not running a stack, just Reta, and right now I weigh 225 pounds. That's a huge 50 pounds gone. I won't be finished until I hit my birth weight of 7lbs 8 oz ( JOKES LOL 😛). For my frame, I'd like to land around 180. Since I started Reta, I've quit my bp meds entirely (approved by doc), my a1c has fallen to .2 to 5.5, and my bmi dropped from 39 to 34.9, which means I'm just obese now instead of morbidly obese hahaha.

I'm so glad I chose to begin this journey, and even gladder that I came across this community. Maybe someday I'll add a stack to help my new life stick, but for now, eating right, exercising, praying to God, and taking Reta have given me a new lease on this wonderful life I get to live.

Sincerely,

Taylor Made Weight loss
