Hi All,

My GLP journey began 1 month ago when I committed to a 12 week tirzepatide prescription from a telehealth compounding pharmacy, aiming to get my weight under control and manage pre diabetes. I'd wanted to give it a try sooner, but the expense held me back and I kept hesitating about self injection. Once these compound pharmacy offers became more appealing, I decided I could handle the injection and took the plunge.

That first shot with the tiny insulin needle showed me it was not bad at all, and from there I began looking into additional peptides and research options in more depth. Down the rabbit hole I went, and here I am.

Wishing you all the best as you get started! Honestly, tirzepatide is a miracle drug — it can completely reshape how you relate to food and make dropping weight feel effortless. When the needles start to feel awkward or bother me, I remind myself of the kids with Type 1 Diabetes who have to inject themselves every single day. You've got this — good luck!

Thanks! You make a good point. After I gave myself that first injection, my reaction was basically: that's it?
