Hi folks. I’m a 45-year-old guy, and roughly twelve months ago I began to feel concerned about some health metrics.

Obesity isn’t something I’ve dealt with—except if BMI is the measure. The way I’d describe myself is maybe slightly “soft,” or the “strength athlete power belly” type. I’ve put in 33 years of exercise, so I’d like to believe that isn’t simply self-deception.

For about two decades, my routine was to gain weight during the cold season and then diet for summer. Last autumn, however, I made the choice to skip the gaining phase. My abs haven’t been visible for twenty years, and I repeatedly came up short; I assume I lack the willpower required to get a lean physique.

That led me to think I might just need some assistance on the mental side, which is how reta entered the picture for me. As I researched the topic, my curiosity grew around other longevity chemicals and practices, along with making my work life better—I’m a business executive.

My 30-year gym history has kept me in a sort of shape, though I also essentially skipped aerobic training for the same span. My Vo2max was low, and I viewed it as a crucial health metric, particularly with longevity in mind. After a year spent on zone2 cardio, then interval work more recently, my aerobic condition improved.

Ok, I enjoy writing—it’s my WOTS (Wall Of Text Syndrome)—and I guess I’ll put below what I’m running to start a conversation, lol.

3mg reta a week

2IU HGH a day

2mg GHK-CU a day

These three are my permanent stack.

Right now I’m using:

Each day: 500mcg wolverine stack

2mg SS-31 a day

500mcg NAD+ a day

Starting in two weeks:

2mg SS-31 (stop after two weeks)

On training days: 1.5mg MOTS-C

1mg NAD+ a day

Everything besides reta and GHK-CU, which have been remarkably effective, is very new to me.

Welcome to GLP1Chat, Penkattor!

Long training histories are something I understand. My route there wasn't as direct, though. As a teenager I was obese, then became heavily focused on fitness, and later pushed that in the opposite direction until anorexia became part of my story. Consistency has usually been a strength for me; the hard part has been recognizing the point where I should stop.

At this stage, my main aim is getting my hunger cues under better control.

The way you've laid out your protocol seems thoughtful. That said, I'm quite inexperienced with much of this, so please don't read my words as approval. 😄 I'm mostly here to meet people and figure out what actually helps.

Given what you're already using, it's possible I stand to learn more from you than you do from me.

I'm curious to see what you'll contribute to the forum.

Pleased to make your acquaintance.

My aim is to get my nagging shoulders sorted out and to recover my energy. A bit of a younger appearance would be a bonus too, haha.

I suppose an eating disorder has been part of my past, though not anorexia—rather the reverse.

Stick with it!

Welcome aboard!

Have any unwanted symptoms appeared while taking that many peps at once? I’m 54 and considering a similar approach, which is why I’m asking.

Aside from my wife raising an eyebrow at the five injections, nothing. Still, it’s early days, so let’s wait and see.

Hello and welcome to GLP1Chat. We're close in age, work, and life circumstances, ... so I'm drawn to learn more about it. My guess is that most begin with reta and ghk cu; once they've tried a bunch of commercial products, we say "hey, this actually works," and a whole new world opens up to explore.

Glad to see you here. That is unquestionably a WOTS. Even so, 30+ years spent training while also improving your aerobic fitness — no small feat. I’m particularly curious about your experience with reta alongside that training. I’m also eager to see where the longevity element goes from here.

This is one deep rabbit hole. As an example, I gave DSIP a shot with the goal of sleeping better? It didn’t do anything for me. One major reason I wanted to try HGH was to improve sleep. I’ll have to either find other peptides that help my sleep or perhaps stop working, eh.

I used reta as a tool for my head. By counting calories—same as before—I lost 13kg over the spring, but this time it felt far easier. It looks like my resting HR went up by roughly 10 beats? Now it’s coming back down, whether because I’ve adapted to it or because it’s also helping the aerobic side.

I think seeing the real benefits for longevity will take time, but I’m confident they’ll come.

Welcome! Almost the exact same story as you, and almost the same stacks too.
Much appreciated. I’m keen to see how this path unfolds.

How long have you been running for?

Longevity is why I’m here as well. I’ll be leaving work at a fairly early age—47—and I hope to keep my health going for as many years as I can. Your ss-31 method appeals to me, and I’m planning to do something along those lines. At the moment I’m taking ghk-cu 2mg/day, reta 2mg/wk, and kpv500mcg/day. Wishing you a long, good life.

I appreciate you laying out what’s in your current routine. Since I’m only starting to learn what various peptides can offer, it’s consistently useful to see how other people use them and which ones appear to help. That’s especially true when the person is in my age bracket. I hope you get many long, healthy years ahead.

What has your experience with KPV been like? I’ve thought about trying it, though I assumed BPC would also aid the bowel.

Yep, what grabs me most is seeing firsthand accounts, particularly from folks in my own age bracket.

After dropping 65 lbs with Reta, I’m considering beginning GHK-cu. Does pinning hurt, and—more crucially—do the benefits make it worthwhile? Weight loss has left me with some loose skin; at 60, I’d still like to improve my skin all around. Glow and klow were options I checked, yet GHK seems much better. Advice would be welcome.

Today marks 13 days of using ghk-cu for me, so I haven't yet settled on my verdict about this peptide. That said, my skin does look improved. I'd bet there are seasoned ghk-cu users here who can offer you more solid guidance than I can.

With 13 days of use behind me, I suspect 500mcg could be a touch high in my case. My seasonal allergies have disappeared—was kpv behind that, who knows?

I strongly hold that the state of the gut is the chief factor behind immune function, so it most likely had a hand in it.

KLOW is what I use. It has GHK-cu in it too, along with a number of other advantages—granted, the cost is higher. My recommendation would be Klow, particularly given your age. For me it made a huge difference with joint pain I was dealing with as well, and people consistently say my skin appears much more youthful than it used to. That said, this isn't something that works instantly; you should look for actual changes once you've used it every day for three months. Injecting GHK-cu may sting, while Klow has less sting, apparently because the KPV within it is helpful.

I'm leaning toward swapping my wolverine and GHK-CU over to Klow, and I'm also keen to give KPV a shot. Fewer steps and fewer injections means my wife will give me fewer sideways glances.

Then again, wouldn't it make sense to try each compound separately so you can tell what's actually doing something and what isn't? That is, if whoever's doing it could stand the wait; haha.
