Hey,
A quick intro, then I'll go back to lurking and asking far too many questions.
32, a creative director based in France. Design, branding, 3D and trailer work keep me busy across a handful of projects, mostly for streamers and small studios. Married, no kids.
Years of my life have been spent with what my GP labels IBS. Multiple trips to the toilet every day, unpredictable as a rule: sometimes explosive, sometimes nothing at all for hours. diarrhea and constipation trade places with no pattern I can spot. No blood, no mucus, nothing at night, so the serious warning signs are excluded. Answers, though, still haven't arrived.
The full circuit of testing has been run. Gluten came back negative. Months went into a strict low FODMAP protocol, followed to the letter with a proper reintroduction phase. Relief came, partially, yet not one trigger food could be pinned down. No culprit ever emerged. What's left is chronic, exhausting gut trouble that shrinks your life, and turns every trip out of the house into a logistics exercise.
Somewhere in all that I began reading properly about peptides. The gut focused ones came first, BPC-157 and KPV. Then I found the GLP-1 angle — the recent meta-analyses pointing to motility and inflammation benefits in IBS, IBS-M in particular, which matches my pattern almost exactly. That is what led me here.
A magic protocol isn't what I'm after, nor anyone telling me what to pin. Understanding is the goal. What worked for you. What didn't. What caught you off guard. What you wish someone had told you beforehand. Taking longer and avoiding harm suits me far better than rushing and ending up in a worse state than I'm already in.
Thanks for having me. I'll do whatever I can to help anyone I'm able to!
