Hi everyone! I’ve heard plenty about this community and wanted to join up. I’m nearing 40, married, with two kids, and honestly life is very full, so keeping movement and fitness in the picture is simply something I need for my sanity.
My health focus has been going for roughly 10-12 years now. I was a heavy kid, and that didn’t really change until my 20s, when weight training came into the picture and triathlon followed later. Injuries showed up too. During my mid-20s, my right ankle’s talofibular ligament got blown, and in my early 30s, the lateral meniscus of my right knee tore. Those two setbacks pushed me to care far more about recovery, rather than only chasing performance.
That is honestly what brought me to peptides. My knee wasn’t recovering as I wanted, and my forearm had started disrupting my lifting, so I began reading about BPC-157 and TB-500. From there, things snowballed, and these days I’m quite drawn to this broader health space as I age. I’ve spent around 4-5 months researching. I began a BPC/TB course running 12 weeks and results were great, and roughly 8 weeks back I introduced a low dose of reta. Things have gone well, honestly; the low dose has suited me, and I’ll likely come off soon, since remaining on anything longer than needed isn’t my goal.
I’m still weighing the next move; whether to try CJC/IPA or a Selank/Semax test is on my mind; nothing is settled.
Mainly, I want to be involved in a community here, pick up knowledge from folks with more experience, and pass along what helped me and what did not, that sort of thing. It would be an added plus to meet others nearby who share this interest.
