Hey everyone,

Peps are totally new territory for me, though the possible upsides have definitely caught my attention. My entire life I've been in the gym, athletic, and careful about my health, but a few months back I fractured my back, which left me basically parked on my rear for 5 months doing nothing. The green light to go back to everyday activities just came, yet the weight I've put on is more than I'd like. My thinking is it could assist with healing, plus joints and mental state overall. Skateboarding, rugby, powerlifting, MMA, jiujitsu and more have all sent me under the knife at various points, and I want to gain a much better understanding of what GLPs can do, and possibly recovery peps too. The sheer amount of information and jargon out there still leaves me lost, so I've been consuming a ton of youtube content on the subject and going through many threads here on this forum. With any luck I'll get a solid handle on all of it before long, enough to decide wisely how to move forward.

Hey, glad you made it — this spot should give you plenty of solid info, no doubt about that.

I wouldn't call myself an expert by any stretch, but I've tested out a handful of different protocols for my back. That's after an old surgery plus some recent herniated discs, and a few knee operations as well — sounds a lot like your situation, with the kiteboarding spinal injury and the skiing wearing down the knees, not to mention all the damage I've done to myself over the years in construction!

If anything comes up, I'm happy to do what I can to help. The only thing I can really go on is my own experience, and it does seem to line up pretty closely with yours.

👍👍👍

Hello and welcome! This community should be a solid resource for finding what you need.

I’m glad to assist with whatever you’re wondering about, though my knowledge comes strictly from personal experience — I’m a newcomer here too.

man, I've also got a herniated disc in my lower back from powerlifting, plus wrecked knees from skating and snowboarding hahaha, have peptides helped you recover at all from your injuries?

Yeah, I've witnessed genuine outcomes from peptide treatment in practice. During my 2nd cycle, just 2 weeks in, I managed to cut my prescribed painkiller dose in half — something I'd attempted unsuccessfully on numerous prior occasions without peptides 👍

Watch out for how a calorie deficit can mess with your head, plus the anhedonia that a lot of people tend to run into. On Tirzepatide I've had a bit of both, no question, and my guess is it hits harder when you can't do the stuff you love most right now.

Jackie, welcome aboard — turns out I'll be relocating to Placer County come June! Your injury situation resonates with me; between powerlifting back in my younger days and Muay Thai these days, I've accumulated a fair share of nagging issues. Planning to give TB500 a shot to gauge what it does for my back, neck, knees, shoulder, and feet lol

For your herniated discs, which protocol ended up being the most helpful?

Yeah definitely, for me the biggest stress is the job situation if my back deteriorates, though not being able to get out and surf or anything like that messes with my head as well!

Hey, I’ve been using high-dose Klow and injecting it as near to the affected spots as I safely can — clearly with a spinal issue you don’t want to get too close — and I’m using short needles. At minimum, I noticed strong anti-inflammatory effects.

What I’m working toward longer term is getting healed up sufficiently to add a lot more muscle around my back and neck, with the idea that this extra support will help with the structural problems down the road.

Fair enough — whichever route I take, the plan is to ease in gradually and keep an eye out for any reactions.

That approach sounds sensible 👍🏾

Wishing you the best of luck as you move forward. It seems like the road ahead may be fairly long, but from what I can tell, there is plenty of support available in this space!

So I'm about to begin a Wolverine stack, but it comes pre-mixed at 1:1. From what I've read, BPC is taken every day while TB is taken 2-3x per week. I had planned to begin with .5mg daily, but with these conflicting schedules I'm now unsure how to dose. Any advice?
