Hey everyone (Hey Dr Nick!)
I ended up here after doing some digging on my own, and I'm just beginning my own weight loss adventure. My weight has been up and down for years, and diets haven't worked out because of the job I do, so I've made up my mind that this is the route to take. I'm not about to hand big pharma my hard earned cash for what amounts to the same product, so I'm going the DIY way.
Getting going can't come soon enough. My grey stuff is already here, and right now I'm hunting for the proper gear — I'm a total wuss and can't stick myself with a needle, so an auto pen is what I need: wince, click, and carry on with the day!
Next up is tracking down that special water, which is harder to find than a rocking horse, from a UK shop I can trust.
At the moment I'm 198lbs and my goal is 180lbs, but the bigger thing is I need the hunger signals to stop. I'm on the road all over the country and keep ending up in Greggs or the shop buying sweets and such. I've settled on going the R route since it looks like it covers what I need.
There's a ton of reading and a ton of videos ahead of me, so a big hello from me — can't wait to get started!
