Hello. Reading a few intro posts was worth the time and some of them I agree with. On sites like Reddit I usually end up in the reader role. Information is something I love consuming, along with hearing what people think on all sorts of topics.
As with plenty of us on the glp forums, I'm closing in on 40, dealing with perimenopause, and watching the weight creep up slowly — and no matter how much effort goes into losing it, it simply won't budge.
sema came into the picture a year ago. The results were terrible and the symptoms were awful. Discouragement set in, the few pounds I'd lost came back and then some.
Switching to tirz was the call I made, and the results have been pleasing. Week 6 is where I am, close to 8 lbs down. For some that number is nothing crazy. But a super responder I am not, and losing slowly and sustainably is something I'm thankful for.
Minimal symptoms and no food noise are what I like about it.
Learning more about glp is what I want, same as many others. Sources that won't break the bank, for buying more accessibly, are what I'm after. But a more informed consumer is what matters most to me. Picking things up from everyone on this forum is something I look forward to.
