Everything here is brand new to me. A few months ago I began compounded tirzepatide, and I'm completely amazed- my life has changed.
Money is really tight for me, but my goals are to repair my shoulders, keep my skin in good shape, and start going to the gym again. When I was young I was in fantastic shape, though it's been roughly 25 years since I last did any weight training (back in the 90s I honestly believed I was Linda Hamilton).
I've given birth to 7 children, and I've put my body and mind through a great deal. On top of that came all the usual hardships of a genX woman, such as an abusive marriage that lasted decades, and leaving college so my ex husband could finish school. All those life events definitely left their mark. These days, though, with tirz and HRT (both of them compounding telehealth type things), most of my inflammation has cleared up and I've lost 40 lbs. I'm ready to return to the gym. My strong wish is to protect my bones and muscle while shedding the next 60 or 70 lbs of fat I still carry. I'd also like to recover from some injuries and stop my skin from looking too awful..
This peptide world appears to come with a fairly steep learning curve. I'm feeling somewhat overwhelmed. Every doctor on youtube seems to be pushing their own coaching hours or their products.
Sorry , that ran long.
I think the main thing is that I simply have a lot of reading ahead of me ( I believe that's still a thing anyway).
