My brother used to tell me that age is a state of mind. He's 3 years my senior, and these days he's stopped saying it 🤣 Truth be told, I spent years as a gym rat and my diet has always been pretty clean, but getting older still brings decline once the body quits making all that good stuff we had in our youth.

Health-wise I'm doing okay, a little extra weight but nothing major. The idea of biohacking to hold off age related illness and decline really appeals to me. I'm on Reta now, low and slow, and I'm loving it!

Putting myself out there like this isn't my norm, since I usually just lurk online rather than join in :/ So please bear with me, it's much appreciated. Beyond that, I'm a truly terrible cook, a hopeless gardener, and the best damn dog mom there ever was!

Glad to be here and pick things up from everyone 🙂

That's a fun name, haha. I usually just read without posting too, and needing to write something definitely pushes me past what feels normal! Then again, everything about this peptide endeavor is already outside my usual zone, and I'm glad to be trying something new.

Welcome aboard! The username gets a thumbs up from me too! I'm in a similar situation. I set up my account more than a month back and have only been reading up since. Now I'm beginning to step out and put up a few posts. There's plenty to pick up and this community is excellent. I'm around the same age as well and recently began reta. So far it's been fantastic.

Your username got a snort laugh out of me. I'm another lurker, in my 50s, and a truly terrible gardener. Wishing you the best on your Reta journey!

Thanks — I'm thrilled that someone recognized the name! You've got to be another Gen X'er too!

Thanks, and best of luck to you too — we Gen X'ers can handle this! Oh, and by the way, I actually managed to kill a FAKE plant once by sticking it on a radiator! Can you believe that 🤣

And a welcome to you too! It's great that Reta has been effective for you—I've had a really positive experience with it up to now. GHK-Cu has been treating me well too. My path was reversed: I spent time lurking before finally registering an account 🙂 The vibe here feels warmer than reddit; over there they'll roast you alive, haha. Can't wait to go yet another mile deeper into the rabbit hole 🕳 Wishing you the best on your journey!

Recomping the body, bouncing back from training, living longer, staying healthy as you age... it helps to be clear about what you're after. At times those aims can pull against one another a little. That said, I understand it. A few of mine work the same way. My stack for body recomp is reta + tirz along with Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 nodac. For energy and getting the most out of workouts I use Mots-c. It also supports longevity. For recovery I take GLOW + Ghk-cu. Then there's epitalon + Thymalin once a year, for longevity and health span. I'm also looking into a few other peptides that are less common. Enjoy your journey.

Welcome to the show! 😀

Next month I hit 50, and these days I'm running Tirzepatid alongside Retatrutid. Over roughly 14 months I've dropped more than 60 kg, all while getting into training and adding muscle.

In a few weeks I plan to add CJC-1295 non DAC plus Ipamorelin, hoping for improved muscle growth and less discomfort - aging can really be a drag sometimes 😏 wish I'd kicked all of this off 20 or 30 years ago...

Summoning the nerve to kick things off is already 50% of the fight, so hats off for that and for what you've achieved so far! 👏 My take is that any available instrument belongs in the kit, and peps fit that description perfectly, just an instrument 🙂 Wishing you luck, and here's hoping your 50's turn out to be your finest decade yet!

Your handle cracks me up. No need to stay hidden — what's great about being online is that a single click lets you mute or skip the idiots.
