Pretty much as the heading states.

I've been fortunate enough to avoid any serious medical problems, but I'm at an age where I really need to prioritize my wellbeing, otherwise the later years of my life are going to be significantly harder. I let things get out of hand with food, beer, and eating around the clock, and I ended up at a peak of just over 260.

Right now I'm "microdosing" reta and dropping pounds. In a few weeks I plan to try Semax to assist with test prep. Depending on how things go, I might look into tesamorelin somewhere in the 3-6 month range.

Appreciate the welcome, and I wish everyone success and willpower on their own health journey.

Welcome!

I'm a bit younger than you at 35, but I went through a similar stretch of "off the rails" years, keeping Dominos in business after my daughters were born (gained a lot, dropped half, then baby #2 came and I regained everything) - Great job on taking that first step to address it! You won't regret it 😊

I've been on Tirz for nearly 10 months now (microdosing 1.5mg for the last ~5), and I'm basically in the best shape of my life at this point!

Best of luck to you on your journey!

I began reta at a low dose too — .5mg weekly — and I've been titrating up, reaching 4mg as of this week. So far I've dropped 20 pounds, and I get genuinely excited each day to check what the scale and the measuring tape show. My wife has also gotten going on tirz, and she's fairly happy with it as well. The two of us are always firing off little bits of info and articles back and forth, trying to pick up more knowledge 🤣

Thanks, kind sir! It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who's let things spiral a bit! LOL Wishing you the best as well!

For me that's 5 years spent off the rails, now on the road back - 6 weeks into recovering what was lost.
I don't know what age you're at...but as you get older, it's crazy how much more a stretch of "going off the rails" takes a toll on your health. My metabolism was never the quickest....but wow, it's surprising how much worse 1 rough weekend leaves you feeling at later ages than it did when I was younger. Best of luck with it!

The pounds are coming off fast...almost faster than is healthy, though I have a lot to lose. Once another week or 2 passes, I plan to boost my protein and start lifting weights at the gym, because right now all I'm doing is walking on an incline.

im absolutely shedding the weight...at almost an unhealthy rate, but I got plenty to lose. In a week or 2 im gonna crank up the protein and add weightlifting to the gym regimen since im just walking on an incline at the moment.

Hey, welcome aboard!

I'm 46 myself.

Make sure you lift weights and keep an eye on how much protein (and total calories) you're taking in.

You don't want to be dropping muscle along the way! (and chances are that's happening for you at the moment).

Getting both sides sorted — training and food — is also essential if you want a way off the Reta (that is, unless you're fine staying on it forever).

One more thing: drop the idea of Tesa. When it comes to losing weight, it simply can't compete with Reta.

If you want a small boost to sleep and recovery once you start lifting, CJC (without DAC) plus Ipamorelin is worth a shot — just don't count on results anywhere near what Reta is giving you.

💪 Wishing you strength!
