Hi everyone,

I’m 29 from the UK and have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. At my heaviest I was around 138 kg, and over the last few years I’ve managed to get down to about 95 kg through a combination of diet, exercise, and a lot of trial and error. Like many people, it’s definitely been a journey with periods of success, plateaus, and regaining weight along the way.

A few weeks ago I started Wegovy and it’s been going well so far. The appetite suppression has been a huge help, and for the first time in a long while I feel like I’m not constantly thinking about food. It’s made sticking to a calorie deficit much more manageable.

I’ve joined the forum because I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the next generation of GLP-1 medications, particularly retatrutide. I’m not rushing into anything, but I like to understand the science, people’s real-world experiences, expected results, side effects, and how others have approached the transition when the time comes.
