Hi all! Saying hello from the UK 🇬🇧

I wanted to introduce myself and explain a bit about how I ended up here.

In 2024 I lost 10 stone, and I was really proud of that achievement. Sadly, most of it has come back since then.

That has been frustrating, but it taught me something important: shedding the weight is one thing; keeping it off over the long term is a different matter entirely.

This time around I'm set on doing things another way. What I want is something I can sustain, not just another short-lived result — and that's what first got me curious about GLP-1 medications and peptide research.

I'm a fairly analytical person by nature and I like to understand the science behind things. Independent laboratory testing, HPLC and LC-MS analysis, peptide purity, accurate dosing and quality control are all areas I'm especially interested in.

I've already had a look around the forum, and there's obviously a great deal of knowledge and experience here.

I'd really like to hear from anyone who has gone through major weight loss and then regained it. What helped you make changes that lasted the next time around? Looking forward to learning, contributing and getting to know everyone!

Cheers! 👍

✋me. Dropped weight, put it back on, dropped it again, regained, dropped once more. It started with jumping on the keto bandwagon, then came my first round of sema, and after that a second round. At this point I've shed a significant amount of fat once more thanks to sema, but I'll be switching to reta shortly so I can consume a little more food while still keeping the fat from returning. My plan is to remain on a GLP-1 permanently, which means I'll never need to do another drastic cut.

10 stone works out to 63.5kgs, or 140 pounds!! That is a genuinely amazing achievement.

What approach did you use to drop that much weight, and how long did it take?

As for me, I've only just gotten to 10kgs (1.5 stone) down, thanks to Mounjaro and signing up at the gym!

Thanks mate, that means a lot. This time around I've already dropped 3 stone in 8 weeks, so things are moving! The goal now is to keep it sustainable and not end up going in circles again.

I've been reading up a lot on peptide stacking and what the potential benefits might be, though the lack of transparency holds me back. Hearing that lab results get reused across different batches makes it difficult to feel confident about what you're actually getting. How's your own journey going?
