Peptide research is brand new territory for me, and a health insurance denial is what pushed me here. Some of the topics I've hit are eye-opening, and it's clear how much these compounds can offer. My own list: insulin resistance, high BP, high cholesterol, fatty liver from PCOS — and Zepbound was cut off by my insurer. Both the PA and the appeal came back denied, with the reasoning that weight loss is no longer covered, never mind that my doctor stated plainly it wasn't prescribed for that. Arguing with doctors and insurers has worn me out, so taking the reins myself feels necessary. Paying the absurd prices from EL direct or through compounding pharmacies isn't something I'll do. Reta is where my interest sits, though I can see there's serious research and digging ahead before I can source and dose safely. Wish me luck — and I'm glad to be joining you all!
