i was on Reta but didn’t feel anything and I gained weight so I changed over to Tirz and it’s been great. I have been losing weight but I feel so bloated and I used to suck in my stomach out of habit but I feel like I can’t even do that anymore. I eat a lot less and in a deficit but I feel like my stomach sticks out more than it did prior to being on a glp

I have not come across people complaining of bloating from GLP drugs much if at all, but it is a super common symptom from a lot of gut issues especially ibs. Depending a bit on what other gastrointestinal symptoms are also occurring , like nausea or constipation /diarrhoea, it makes sense to just consider it to be due to the GLP drugs. I do not know what dose you are on or how recently you increased the dose, but dropping down a bit for your next dose would be the obvious solution, or if it is really unpleasant and uncomfortable, wait until it has settled down before having your next smaller dose, so just delay it for a few days or a week. If it relates to eating the standard advice for glp drugs is smaller meals, not too much fluid with meals etc. Depends a bit if the bloating sensation is from very slow gastric emptying so the stomach itself, or from the intestines or colon, where it is usually caused by excess gas no doubt made more of an issue by gut motility being slowed down. It should be not too hard to tell the difference from whether the bloating is in the upper or lower gut regions.

In addition, I have not only read about and heard others discuss how certain foods effect them; I have experienced it myself. If I eat high fat/greasy foods, I feel like a rock is in my stomach.

here is a quick google on how that works:

Eating a high-fat diet while on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy can worsen side effects. High-fat and fried foods slow stomach emptying even further, often leading to severe nausea, acid reflux, vomiting, and bloating. Doctors recommend limiting greasy foods and choosing small amounts of healthy fats instead. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Why High-Fat Diets Cause Issues

    • Delayed digestion: GLP-1 drugs already slow down how fast your stomach empties. Adding heavy fats makes this process much slower.
    • Worse side effects: Greasy meals trigger sharp increases in stomach discomfort, heartburn, and nausea.
    • Calorie density: High-fat items crowd out smaller meal spaces meant for essential nutrients. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Foods to Avoid

    • Fried items: French fries, fried chicken, and deep-fried fish.
    • Greasy meats: Sausage, bacon, and heavy fast-food burgers.
    • Heavy sauces: Cream-based sauces, excessive butter, and rich gravies.
    • Processed snacks: Potato chips and heavy cheeses in large amounts

I had exactly one such episode on Tirz, early in my journey with it. I ended up taking Milk of Magnesia to clear everything out, which resolved the issue within a few hours. It has never reoccurred, but I do keep GasX on hand just in case. Hopefully yours is a 1x thing, too. If I'd had the GasX at the time, I understand that would have been a kinder, gentler option.
