I was thinking about telling people how i was scammed!

So is it really better to let people continue to be scammed in the name of silence to prevent scammers from learning the scam? If this is something truly unique, and I have my doubts, I think you should explain the process here to prevent additional scams. The community has enough outlets to get the word out and prevent many more additional victims. Of course, people get scammed everyday anyway by the old scams, but if it's a particularly novel approach, most people will find out before it happens. Forewarned is forearmed.

I'm positive this scam gets others. It's the one that's warned about the most. Every experienced person, now know what it is.

It is not a sign of weakness just ignorance that causes scams, at anytime someone can make a mistake, even seasoned professionals fall for some.

If you save one person or leave 1 scammer broke, it is worth sharing.

IMHO

Hahahahahahaa. Nailed it! Kind of funny that I just got scammed of my time, which is my most valuable asset. Either way, I'm just trying to help out and have reached fuck off mode.

You wanna post about being scammed and not share details. You're scared that scammers will see it and copy it but trust most scammers are ahead of the game, you aint teaching them new tricks.

Why even bother posting that you got scammed.

I got to say, this has annoyed me. I’m always curious how people get scammed, because if you buy from a vendor with a history, it seems hard other than the occasional exit scam. Then all I read was some dude talking about fear of how to teach the scammers.

New members with the red No Source Discussion Banner do not have a good track record posting about scams here. You are treading on thin ice.

You need to slow down and do lots more reading before you go on with this.

First read about posting in the Scam Spotlight

Can't post thread in the scamwatch - how do I warn people?

It won't let me post in the scamwatch when I have screenshots of the biggest vendor here scamming. Why can't I post? How are these vendors held up to accountabilty? I've been on the forum nearly 6 months yet am still restricted and can't report scams, that's wild.

There was similar back and forth about a scam by another new member today on a different thread.

I was just about to post what I said above.

Then Poof!

The entire thread disappeared.

The moderators had enough and I am guessing that member may now be restricted from posting for some time.

Re-read the Forum rules and New member limitations while you are brushing up.

I am pretty sure someone tried to scam me the first week I joined this Forum I didn't fall for it so not sure. But after I put them off the never hit me up again.
