That feeling is so real!! Every now and then I spot someone around my age who’s clearly in great shape, and my brain just goes, “Peptides?” I keep peps completely separate from my offline world. Thank goodness for the GLP1Chat! Any time you want to chat peptides, I’m here, lol. Which pin is your current favorite?
That's awesome!! Same here — nobody in my day-to-day life knows, and I'm dying to talk about it lol!

So far Reta wins for me! Honestly, I'm in restaurant work and the food noise is completely gone! Wild, and I can't wait to test out others! Placed a GB order recently with a whole pile of things — selank, MotsC, NAD+ and SS31 — plus I picked up Klow on its own. lol maybe that's too much, but I'm hooked.
If you think you're overdoing it, you're surrounded by people who get it!! ❤️😂 I keep picking up a kit of this and a kit of that — whatever compounds I come across — and I sample them gradually, spacing things out so I don't pile on too many at once. That way there's at least a chance I can figure out what each pep is doing. Some have turned out to be great as a nasal spray, semax and selank among them. Then there's the whole topical side, ahk cu and snap 8 included. So many rabbit holes!! Tirz is what I'm on, though I've hit my goal weight, so these days it's maintenance only. I've got some reta waiting, since I figure it'll give me a bit more energy back, but I won't touch it until I've worked through a good chunk of my tirz stash. For tracking I rely on the pep planner app and shotsy. As far as my family is concerned, those little packages and the colorful 3d printed boxes hold my skincare and supplements, and nobody has asked a single question yet.

When it comes to my household, my husband is aware, though he has zero interest in discussing it. It was actually my daughter who introduced me to peptides, but she avoids the topic too.

It seems like peptides are a total mystery to everyone I know — my friends, my family, all of them. Or who knows, maybe they're all in on it too and we're just not telling each other.

Still, when it comes down to it, I'm dying to have a conversation with somebody about this stuff! For 3 months now I've been going deeper and deeper into the peptide rabbit hole, and there's not a single person around me who wants to have an intellectual discussion about any of it… I just wanna chat about peptides and not feel like a crazy person !! 🥹
I get it—message me anytime if you'd like to chat. My daughter introduced me to Tirz, but whenever I try to bring it up with her, she shuts it down, ugh. It really feels like I'm going through this by myself, lol. At least there are online
I got my mom started on Zepbound, though she'd be pretty upset about grey, so I keep my tirz source to myself. Still, chatting with her about it is something I really enjoy—why do you figure your daughter avoids the topic? I'm asking out of curiosity, since it strikes me as odd that she wouldn't want to talk, particularly if you're both navigating the grey market, as I assume.

When I bring it up with her, I honestly get nothing back — she just tells me she doesn’t want to hear about any other peptides. My read on it is that she’s doing her own thing, on her own path, and anything beyond that doesn’t interest her. No other peptides at all. It’s strange. She acts like “mommy.” She says she doesn’t want peptides to be the topic all the time — only now and then. If I try to mention other peps that might help her, she shuts it down. My mom does talk about it, but she has no clue about peptides — she assumes I’m getting them from the Doc. I’d rather not stress her out, since we lost my sister a couple years back. You’re welcome to send me a friend request; I’m easy to talk to and pretty laid back.

Overboard? I honestly don't know what that word is supposed to mean here. lol

It's been just a few months since I started peps, and I already went out and bought a medical freezer just so I'd have somewhere to keep supplies that'll last me multiple years. Lol. There are so many reusable pens in my life now, plus a stack that's pretty complex. Honestly, I feel like a junky.
Over in a different hobby community of mine, the endless cycle of finding, supplying, demand, and price hunting centers on stockpiling ammunition... The majority keep their ammo in the garage or a separate structure, and the bragging phrase used there is "slab cracking" quantities of ammo... 😎 👍

That's amusing, since that happens to be yet another one of my interests. Around here, I'm noticing a pattern of stockpiling. Lol

Funny enough, 1 of my sons had been taking gray Reta—even though losing weight isn’t something he needs. He quit because the way it felt didn’t sit right with him. These days, though, he’s critical of me for using other peptides. Meanwhile, he messes with black market LSD and shrooms. Everyone’s got their own thing.

My sister had to quit Kilimanjaro due to cost, and she's the only person I've shared this with. I got her some Tirz and told her it works out to 10 times the amount for the same price!
By the time my sister mentioned it, I'd already gotten into the reading portion of my research. She was sourcing Reta from an unknown supplier, with no testing and at an absurd price. She also admitted she had no idea what dose her lab rat was receiving, and claimed it wasn't performing as well as Tirz. That pushed me to step in, so that at minimum the two of us would be using peptides I'd had tested. She still doesn't care much about the logistics, but I make sure she at least knows the dose for her lab rat, whether and when to titrate, and that the peptides are genuinely real and safe.

Next month her lab rat is scheduled for shoulder surgery, so I'm now digging into everything I can find on BPC-157 and the Wolverine stack, hoping it might speed up her lab rat's recovery.

Yesterday I ran into my best friend and saw his lab rat limping on the left knee, so I tried to bring it up. I asked whether he'd heard anything about peptides and BPC-157, and right away he said he believes they cause cancer. Welp, when someone opens with that, I'm not going to bend over backwards trying to change his mind. I simply suggested he look into it, and mentioned the study where a rodent's achilles tendon was cut and then fully healed thanks to BPC-157. I'm continuing to read as much as I can on the subject. It looks like yet another peptide with a lot of potential.

The lesson my daughter taught me is to simply avoid the subject with him. Online conversations are where I do my talking

100%. He's constantly pushing shrooms on me. Losing touch with reality just isn't my thing. What draws me to peptides is physical recovery and doing whatever I can to hold onto youth for as long as I can. So far I've got 5 grandkids, and I'd love to keep up with them for many years to come. 🙂

Yep, same here — I’ve attempted to share info or educate others about it. Eventually I figured out it’s better to keep quiet. On top of that, I had a double mastectomy on July9th,2026, and I’m considering BPC-157. By the way, it fixed my chiropractor’s shoulder — he’s the only person who actually paid attention when I introduced him to peps, and I chat with him during my appointments.

Should the FDA ever allow those peptides back into compounding, more doctors could feel encouraged to educate themselves and genuinely support their patients using this knowledge.

Honestly, I'd keep going down the natural path. Things like shooms only end up harming your body. I'd rather recover than reach for psychedelics or any kind of pain medication. Two weeks ago I had a double mastectomy, and I'm considering BPC-157 to help with healing. It worked for my chiropractor's shoulder — he's someone I also introduced to the G.M. Others simply won't hear it when I tell them where it comes from; they look at me as if I've lost my mind. Yet some of the most advanced medicine and technology originates from there.

Wishing you a smooth recovery.

Should the FDA ever allow those peptides back into compounding, more doctors could feel encouraged to educate themselves and genuinely support their patients using this knowledge.
I came across an article on Google saying they're pushing for it. If I can locate the link, I'll share it.
There are a few doctors on Youtube I follow who share solid details on this, and they go into fairly detailed explanations for every peptide. Naturally, I also verify what they say on here.

I'm with you on wanting conversation and being annoyed that there's no one around for it. I introduced 2 friends to compounded tirz, but I haven't told them — and won't — that I moved to gray. It would shock them, so I rely on my daily journal, this forum and now and then Gemini for pep talk and questions. This place is a fantastic resource, yet I still hesitate before posting my questions because I worry folks will get annoyed by yet another "tirz to reta" type question. So I search and read, search and read. Sighs...
This is so relatable. Being new, I've got endless questions, and I'm sure they're super repetitive to anyone who's been using pep for a while. Browsing this forum is great—there's just so much to pick up! I also signed up for a smaller group, and I get plenty of my questions answered over there too.

As for going gray, there's no way I'm sharing that with anyone in my day-to-day life. I live in a really small town, and if I even told a single person, the entire town would be gossiping about it lol.

I recently spoke about this with 2 of my grown kids, both of whom deal with obesity and diabetes. Ozempic and Mounjaro were working for them, but the price became unmanageable. That led us to talk it over. It’s somewhat tricky, since everyone’s risk profile and what they’re willing to accept differ.
I get it completely — it's really tough. If you'd asked me 4 months back whether I'd ever think about using ozempic or monjaro, my answer would have been a hard no. I was terrified of putting anything into my body.

Fast forward to now, and I'm on Reta lol

When I suggested to my mom that it might help with her diabetes, she didn't listen. It was only when her doctor went ahead and prescribed monjaro that she finally came around
