Hi,

I just picked up a decent stash, and now I need a way to keep my lyophilized peptides stored for the long haul.

Some videos I watched suggested the Hydrapeak Food Thermos. When it comes to inserts, there are plenty of solid 3d models available for printing that are designed specifically around that thermos model, so getting one of those would be best. Are there any Europeans on here who know a store carrying them, or perhaps a clone that matches the same dimensions?

If nothing else, I could always make my own inserts for a Food Thermos from a different brand -- but there's no reason to make things harder than they need to be 😀

Thanks!

In the meantime, I came across a solid substitute at IKEA. The EFTERFRÅGAD seems promising, so tomorrow I'll head to IKEA. There are also some decent 3d print files out there.

Ohhhh, an IKEA just opened near me!

Just grabbed a 1L vacuum flask off Ali (€10).

Doubt it will keep anything cold for long, though if the size works out I should fit two kits stacked, with room around them for vials kept separate. A little bubble wrap and it should survive a knock or two.

HydraPeak, but cheap 🤑

Please share your results! I tend to be quite particular, and I prefer my vials stored tightly packed. I don't like anything shifting around 😀

Once they're done, I'll share photos. I also picked up a 100-count pack of silica gel packets. Those should take up the empty space.

That jar is going to be as dry as the desert.

I own a few of these (not for peptides, haha), and the main problem for me is the threading quality—it's pretty poor. I regret not inspecting them at the store rather than picking up 3. 1 works okay, but on 2 of them the lid is a real pain to line up and twist shut since the threads are misaligned.

Just something to consider if that sort of thing bothers you, lol.

I picked up a pair from Temu, and the printed inserts line up exactly! No complaints here!
