The string bean kid is what I was growing up, and worrying about my weight never crossed my mind. Then adulthood arrived, my metabolism and activity both fell off, and by the time I hit 30 I was genuinely out of shape and overweight. A hiking trip to Sedona (my first ever) got me and my brother-in-law doing P90X together, and it was genuinely rough, but we kept at it and the results were great. 30 pounds came off and both strength and cardio jumped, though it wasn't a sustainable routine so it didn't last. The next several years followed one pattern — P90X for about 90 days before the yearly hiking trip, then nothing at all until the following year. Then came COVID, and I bought a Peloton Bike to burn off the pent-up energy and anxiety. That one stuck: I found a groove and held it for more than a year. The Power Zone Pack came next, and the team challenges were a lot of fun, but I eventually fell off — once your numbers slide, staying off the bike gets easier than facing the facts. A second attempt at P90X in 2022 went nowhere at all; for the first time in my life, diet and exercise did absolutely nothing. Bloodwork at the doctor's showed my Testosterone in the tank. TRT wiped out all the underlying anxiety. I stopped feeling like I was slowly dying, and the anxious urge to exercise went with it. All the way to Labor Day weekend I ate everything, slept all I wanted and enjoyed not being anxious…until my wife snapped a photo of me in a beach chair. Seeing that was a shock. Soon after I joined the local YMCA and began lifting weights. The YMCA has since been swapped for a warehouse-style gym closer to home, but the heavy lifting never stopped — I'm 2.5 years into lifting for hypertrophy and bodybuilding, and loving it. The bodybuilding community is where Reta came onto my radar and the results I saw were shocking. Hopping on Reta wasn't the plan until I went 3 months without seeing a friend of mine. We got together for dinner at another friend's place around Christmas and he was shredded. I'd never seen him look like that; he told me how he'd got there. I went home that night and put in an order of my own. My wife and I have been on Reta for going on 8 weeks now and are excited about the early results.

My reason for joining: to educate myself properly on the GLP peptides, plus the other peptides with promise for health and longevity.

Written communication isn't my strongest suit, so bear with me everyone. That said, finding these forums has made me really happy, and I'm excited (and a little nervous) about getting involved with the community.
