I had been using Reta and Mots-C. For the first 2 weeks I kept the doses low at 1 mg of each, and in week 3 I raised both to 2 mg.

Roughly 7 weeks after I stopped, intense internal hot flashes began. I also get the sense that my immune system is weaker now, though I have not run a fever.

Is this possibly a sign of sepsis, or is it more likely tied to metabolic or hormonal effects from the compounds that are still lingering?

There is far too little information here to make even a rough guess about what's happening. How old are you? Are you male or female? Any anxiety? Any medical conditions? When someone uses a couple of peptides for a few weeks and then something occurs 7 weeks after they stop, the odds are it has nothing to do with the peptides — 7 weeks is simply too long a gap for there to be any meaningful chance they are the cause. If this worries you, seek a medical opinion. The one truly common cause of hot flushes is menopause in women. Sepsis doesn't behave that way: you're either fine or severely ill with a serious fever. As for lingering effects, I think 7 weeks is just far too long to believe that's a factor, so it's most likely unrelated.

I’m 20 and had no medical issues before this — I was fully healthy. Then roughly a month after using Reta and Mots, I began feeling very sick every single day, out of nowhere.

Nausea, anxiety, diarrhea and stomach pain came first. In time those faded, but these days I get hot flashes inside my body on a daily basis.

Could a viral infection be behind this, or is it something else? I honestly don’t know what’s going on.

Thanks for replying. I’ll have a doctor look into it.
