Hey everyone! Thrilled to join this group.
My GLP-1 path began back in 2023, through a doctor in independent practice that I came across on Reddit. Tirzepatide was my first medication, but problems with the compounding pharmacy made it really hard to obtain a consistent supply and keep to a regular dosing schedule. So I switched to semaglutide through a nationwide doctor and pharmacy service, and that has worked out alright over the past few years.
Since starting, I have lost 60 pounds, though progress has been stuck at a standstill for roughly a year now. On top of that, the service charges a premium price, and I am ready to leave them behind. Years ago on tirzepatide, I always had the sense that I was getting a better response. Only 25 pounds remain before I am back at the weight I had when high school ended. Small wins count, right?
What I can say is that my life now looks nothing like it did when I began. I simply feel improved, more joyful, and more self-assured. Looking forward to meeting all of you here!
