Hi everyone
I'm 41 and live in the UK — genuinely glad to have found this place. I've been on a GLP-1 for roughly nine months now, and browsing this forum has already taught me a lot.
After years of fighting my weight and near-constant food noise, I got tirz through an online pharmacy. Short bursts of progress were doable for me, same as for plenty of others, but nothing stuck long term until GLP-1s turned down the volume on food thoughts, and I dropped about 2. A few weeks back I moved over to Reta, partly for the possible extra fat-burning upside and partly because Tirz had me stuck. Titrating up has brought a hefty food-noise comeback, though it's easing off bit by bit. Chocolate and cake — first time in months, I think!
I'm here to pick up what I can from people who actually get this journey — long-term planning, headspace, riding out the highs and lows — and to chip in wherever I'm able. The broader peptide world also fascinates me, even if the sheer amount of info out there leaves me a bit swamped. Research, research, research!
Can't wait to meet you all and be part of such a supportive community
