Hi! 45f 2mg ret 12/30/25 @ 233lbs

Not even 7 days in, and I'm down 7.4 pounds already. Aiming for 133 pounds by 12/2026.

Excited to pick up more from all of you here 🙂
During the first 1 to 2 weeks, a lot of what comes off is usually water. Dropping 100lbs within 1 year can happen, but try not to fixate on a set date—it's a journey. And honestly, whether it ends up taking 1.5 or 2 years doesn't really matter.

Wow! What's your dose?

I chose to stick with the Eli Lily trial dosing plan for 2mg: stay at 2mg as long as weight loss continues, and only then move up to 4mg, 6mg, and so on.

Glad to have you here!

My suggestion would be to make sure you're getting plenty of collagen, and if you aren't already using ghk-cu, it might be worth looking into—together they could potentially reduce the chance of sagging skin as things progress.
sean326 makes a good point. From what I've gathered in my reading, ghk-cu can be useful for keeping skin from sagging. My first ghk-cu dose was last night, and reta will be added on Wednesday. Wishing you the best on your path.

I began glow 2 weeks after I started reta in Aug, and so far I haven't gotten ozempic face,

Have you been on glow the entire time or are you cycling?

I take it without breaks, and I add zinc every day as a safeguard against copper issues. At 1 mg, that really shouldn't be an issue. I just want to be certain

continuously, I also take zinc daily to offset any copper problems. Which at 1 mg shouldn't be a problem. Just to be sure

Taking zinc by mouth won't change copper levels in your blood at all. That can't happen.

First off, that's incredible—but I have to ask: is dropping 7+ pounds within 1 week actually healthy?
A 7lb drop is usually not a healthy sign, though it does happen fairly often during week one. These days I'm very lean, and my scale can move 3-4lbs from one day to the next depending only on yesterday's food. When someone is obese, carrying plenty of water, and using just a handful of weigh-ins, a 7lb shift is easy to see.

I figured the drop was largely water, though I wanted to check. That "too good to be true" label people keep giving reta still leaves me skeptical.

Nice work on that huge drop so far. Of course things will taper off eventually...just have faith in how it works. I'm totally with you on moving up in dose only if it's necessary, instead of sticking to some rigid schedule without thinking.
