Hi all -

I've just come aboard and am kicking off my learning and research process.

I live in Northern California's wine country, though I was born and raised in Pasadena CA. I'm married, a mother of 2 teenagers who are older now, and I hold down a hectic, high-pressure, yet wonderful job.

My story began with 20 years of diets that never worked - bringing up 2 kids while flying around the globe for work - I tried it ALL. And nothing stuck. Once I went past 200# I finally got a prescription for ozempic. Total life saver. Honestly a game changer. 2.5 years down the line I'm on Tirz - high dose - through télé health since my medical stopped covering sema. I've dropped 50# and am 5# away from my goal weight. I intend to stay on this for life. That's what brought me here, to eventually shift toward researching my own path at a price I can afford.

My daughter is heading off to college soon (in Ireland!) so cutting costs wherever possible is going to be essential. And the télé heath is expensive AF. Still using télé health right now - which has been the case for all of 2025.

I'm also interested now in other stacks to pair with the Tirz. Being a redhead woman - Glow has caught my attention but I haven't begun it. I have rosacea (thanks Menopause). Plus Menopause and tirz together have left me with no energy, no libido, and no oomph/zest for life. So I'm really curious about stacks that could help with that.

Here's my health rundown -

I take Tirz - thyroid meds - and just began TRT shots. I'm hoping to research new options for Tirz and TRT and gradually explore what to stack alongside for energy and vitality.

Over the past 4 months I've read and researched a huge amount about Peptides and research, went super deep over the Christmas break, and have already read so much on this site just to establish a base line. Everyone seems kind and helpful and there are so many niche areas to explore.

Thanks for having me! Here's to 2026 and a better way to stay vibrant and healthy.

Hey there! Great to meet you! It's reassuring to find people who share a similar background. Dealing with insulin resistance, Peri/Meno, plus Hypo thyroid and hair loss feels like an enormous pit to climb out of, but I'm at last catching a glimpse of hope.

Welcome aboard! 👋 This recent piece covers a journalist's account of purchasing Retatrutide on the grey market, and it could be useful as you get started
Appreciate it! Reta isn’t something I know a lot about … my switch to Tirz only happened once Oz stopped working for me. Tirz has been great so far, though Reta seems …. Interesting 🤔 and something to tackle later on.
