Hey everyone. Dallas is where I'm from, then I bounced around for a while, and these days I'm living in Houston, Texas. The BBQ is excellent, the baseball team is okay, traffic is a nightmare, and if you weren't aware, it gets hot here. Not today, but for the remaining 10 months of the year...

My Tirz journey began in March of 2024 at 2.5mg, and by July of 2025 I was at 10mg with fantastic results. I dropped roughly 80lbs, experienced mental clarity I hadn't felt in years, barely wanted alcohol, and slept better than I ever have. Then the CVCM formulary change hit me, and I just can't bring myself to pay what the current pharmacy, compounding, or direct prices are asking. I gave Sema a try for a couple of months, but it did nothing for me and I had a couple of dizzy spells, so I chose to stop. There seems to be a ton of useful information here to sort through, and plenty of people who know their stuff. I'm eager to learn what experiences and resources others have turned to.

To get a sense of grey pricing and how payment works, I'd start by checking out the “Vendor Connection” channel. No vendor here has been vetted, so due diligence is entirely on you - though you'll find lots of vendor feedback on this forum. Go with vendors who are well-known and have plenty of 3rd party (customer) testing behind them. There's safety in numbers. The pioneers are the ones with arrows sticking out of their backs; when you're just starting out, it's wiser to be a settler.

There's plenty of useful material on this site. I often pass a lot of time simply going through the forums and paying attention to what those more seasoned researchers share.

Staying informed is always worthwhile
