Hi Everyone,

I'm just starting out with peptides. Right now I'm working on cutting out the excuses I keep making to myself about my health and getting into shape. I'm looking forward to picking up knowledge from people who are further along on this path than I am.

Same boat here. Best of luck! I'm working out what dose of Reta is right, and how much to increase and how frequently, since I'm not really noticing much. Began at 1mg in wk 1, then 1.5 in wk 2, and 2 in week 3. Not sure whether to keep raising it or just hold off and see. This has a learning curve, but the knowledge on here is pretty amazing.

Glad you're here — it seems like this is the spot where you can get all your questions sorted out. Wishing you the best as you move forward!

They help a lot too. That's what I noticed, at least.

From what I've experienced, GLPs do a great job of quieting that mental urge to eat. It feels as though you can finally hear your own thoughts clearly, without all the noise.

Increasing the dose by that amount in such a short time means you're moving up too fast. Every mg step ought to be held for a minimum of 4 weeks — 1mg for 4weeks, and if it's effective, stay at that level. If it isn't, move to 1.5mg for 4 weeks, and so on. As soon as a given dose keeps working, remain at that dose.

Thanks for the reply — I had come across the idea that a dose needs roughly 3 weeks before you really feel its full effect. So for the time being I’m staying put and not increasing. I’ll stick with the current dose until it has had its run, then check in with how I’m feeling.

What a wonderful spot to pick up knowledge! GLP1s have been part of my routine for roughly 2 years now, and I'm thinking about branching out into other peptides. Research is still ongoing on my end, and I'm really grateful for this community!
