If anyone needs a laugh — I vanished because I wrecked the motorcycle, broke my wrist, left the hospital with a plate and two pins in me, and then hit a deer with the car almost straight after. In my defence it was 11pm and pitch black, and I was dodging a car that had seemingly run off the road at random right in front of me. The scoot is a write-off. The car is in the shop. Life has been eventful, to say the least. Summer out here in the PNW is about unplugging for BBQ's and campouts, plus repeated hospital trips in my case. On the peptide side, I am finally under 300lbs, added KLOW and I'm loving how much it helps with inflammation. Thanks for all the laughs and encouragement, lurking here is one of my favourite pastimes. Rock on!

I ended up leaving the PNW, camping is not for me 😂😂😂

And honestly, wherever I live there are deer everywhere, and half of them seem to be trying to cause a serious car accident. People still wonder why I won't drive at dusk or after it for half the year!

I expected to dislike camping far more than I do. What actually makes it fun is the people. Oh, and two days max. For someone my size, water and electricity are basic hygiene requirements.

2-lane road at 11pm... lesson learned. And tens of thousands of acres have gone up in this state so far. Wildlife always gets pushed closer by fire.

Wow! That is one eventful summer, no doubt about it. Good to hear you came through it with some wins on the board. The deer, I assume, can't say the same. 😕
I wish it had ended up in the smoker! That oversized shit bird landed on my hood, crunched the frame enough to kill the headlight, then bounded off into the night as if nothing had happened.

I actually miss the PNW, camping is my thing, but now I'm out in the desert and camping there is sus at best.

Camping comes down to what you won't compromise on. Nothing beats it, the gear you want just costs a fortune lol My one hard requirement is sunrise coffee somewhere beautiful....so there's a french press in the kit, plus a screened porch to sit and drink it in at sunrise. The best cups of coffee always happen at camp <3

Any Bigfoots bother you while you were out camping? Those boogers are everywhere out in the PNW. Native people say some of them are cannibals.

I plan on killing one. (Bigfoot)

My dudes, you get a beautiful view from a hotel room and it comes with climate control and running water.

Born and raised on the kitsap peninsula, which genuinely ranks among the most beautiful places on earth. My friends mean the world to me and they're camping people. Every single trip we took, I hated 😂 we had property, so camp outs happened at my house instead. In the end I'd go cool...and go sleep in my bed 😂
