Have you found any method or supplement that has improved your sleep?

The pattern for me: I drop off fine, then wake roughly 3 hours later and can't get back down for hours. Cortisol spikes are the likely culprit. DSIP was tried, and it did nothing for me.

Adding 400mg of Magnesium Glycinate at bedtime transformed my nights. Roughly 90% of them are now solid. My Apple Watch does the tracking and its numbers line up with how I feel. As supplements go, this one sits near the top of my list.

Still keen to hear how Epitalon lands for you guys.
Some Magnesium glycinate just arrived to go into my evening mushroom tea. It turned up today. Looking forward to finding out how it lands.
Give it a few weeks before judging. For me the improvement came on gradually.

Ashwaghanda (expect odd dreams from it, mostly at the start and much less once you've been on it a while). One caution: pick a high quality standardized withanolides extract, since that's the active ingredient.

Noted, thank you — I will.

Ohh I should have mentioned that the epitalon did the same to me. The dreams I had on it were seriously intense, not bad, just intense.

Plenty of us are working on sleeping better, so a dedicated thread for swapping what we've tried and what actually delivers seemed worth having.

One pattern I've noticed over the years: the things that help me fall asleep usually make the sleep hard but shorter. Intense exercise is one, and CJC1295 another.

Turning in at a fixed evening hour — 9pm for me — has made a real difference.

Epithalon is on order. I'm weighing up adding magnesium.

Over to you: what have you tried, and what worked?
Magnesium glycinate plus L-theanine are my two. Together they carry me through the night. Without both, I wake up constantly.

At bedtime I take magnesium, ashwagandha and Glycine powder. The difference has been big. Falling asleep was never my problem — staying asleep was! Adding the Glycine powder in let me stay under far longer. It was the missing piece!
