Sorry you're dealing with this, man. Especially in that way — daamn!!! Though chances are it was already there and the session just triggered the signal/pain.
I've been through surgery for bilateral inguinal hernia plus umbilical hernia. Mine happened during a heavy dead lift and I felt it right away.
I lived with it for roughly 8 years before deciding to get it fixed. I kept putting it off since my schedule was always packed and I didn't want to pause for some weeks/a month whatever I was doing.
For this kind of thing there are basically 3 types of surgery:
1) open surgery
2) laparoscopic
3) robotic
2 and 3 are similar, but 3 is superior.
BUT the doctor matters most. If he has the experience and knowledge (and of course a good team, machines, materials etc), whichever you pick — even open surgery — you'll be fine.
Better to have open surgery with a very experienced doctor than laparoscopic/robotic with a less experienced one.
Like others have said, I'd use bpc, tb, kpv, ghkcu (personally I never touch the ready glow/klow blends, I take each pep separately). I'd begin at least 7 days before surgery and keep going after for quite a while.
As I'm sure you already know, post-surgery you have to avoid anything that puts pressure on the area — cough, diarrhea, constipation, exercising, sex, strong laughter etc. So the diet should suit that too.
For me it took some weeks to feel significantly better, but I also didn't follow instructions the way I should — for example I didn't walk as I should.
Now I'm ok and can exercise intensely if I want, no problems at all.
