Has anyone reached their target weight and then tapered down from retatrutide?

In a couple of months I plan to give quitting Tirz a shot. I'm still dropping pounds on a 2mg maintenance amount, and by day 6 or 7 I don't feel any hunger. That said, for close to 4 weeks now I've been doing a daily fast from 22:00PM until 12:00PM. Maybe right now I've just gotten accustomed to feeling hungry. The rest of the day I do take in sufficient nutrients, though sugar is off the table and carbs plus fat are quite low.

Reading this gave me some useful perspective. I'm currently at 4mg of reta, have lost 45 lbs, and still have roughly 50 lbs left to lose. I haven't figured out an exit strategy yet. That said, I've been exercising a lot. Carrying less fat makes it easier. These days I genuinely enjoy training. I'll be picking up tips from everyone here. Staying on reta indefinitely is something I'd be fine with.
There's still a decent stretch ahead of you, so no need to worry about it at this point.

I've hit the end goal I set for myself, so now I'm stepping the dose down into maintenance. Right now I'm at 6 mg, and the highest I've gone is 12 mg. What I'm working out is the dose that holds my weight steady along with the other advantages I value almost as much.
What sort of pace did you use to reduce your dose? Has appetite come back for you?
It happened a lot quicker than I expected. My assumption was that the decrease would mirror the increase—dropping the dose on a monthly basis—yet the pounds kept coming off. I ended up 8 lbs below my target, so now I'm stepping the dose down every 2 weeks. Appetite suppression is still quite strong for me, though Reta has always worked exceptionally well in my case.

I eat 2 meals per day, consistently. Last week I moved up to 6 mg and I'll monitor what happens. Staying at that amount might be necessary, or I could end up at 4 mg.
I need guidance—I've gone below my goal, don't want to shed any more pounds, and have to begin reducing. I'll remain on it indefinitely as well. My wife will continue at 9mg for the time being.
That's a curious way to put it -- has she said anything about what she thinks?
She's aware of it and has asked me to dial it down. I'm roughly 7-8lbs under my target, and because of that subcutaneous belly fat I was still on 9mg, plus I was trying to lower my BF%, though that mostly comes down to sit ups and similar stuff. She had to lose more than me, and she still does. I honestly don't get how she ended up that puffed out.
So the plan isn't to keep her on it. She's the one deciding, right?
Yes, I am — the injections will continue, only at reduced doses. My plan is to use up the 9mg. She's good.

Is she showing interest in the process? How does she view it?

(I've volunteered to mentor a handful of people. Their level of interest tends to vary.

It never fails to catch me off guard, since I'm fascinated by this subject and soak up everything I can about it!)
She's good and understands the situation. In fact, she was the one who said we ought to begin once we discussed it.

A little context: I'm female, 168cm tall, and began at 70kg with a target of landing in a healthy 55kg range. Through slow, gradual dose increases—starting at 0.5mg and working up to 4mg—I got there in roughly 6 months.

I realize I didn't have all that much to shed, but the physical changes are striking. My waist went from 27 inches down to 24 inches over that period. Now I feel it makes sense to stop, take stock, and rethink what I'm aiming for.

I'd really like to hear how others have handled tapering off reta and shifting into maintenance rather than continuing to lose. What does the long-term plan look like? I've seen talk of cycling on and off, but some research suggests that stopping and then starting again means going all the way back to square one.

I'm facing this exact problem at the moment. Today I finally got to my goal weight, which means I should be figuring out how to transition into maintenance. But honestly, I'm not there yet mentally. Over the past 19 months I've dropped 90 lbs, and since I've come this far, hitting 100 even seems worth doing. Once my tesa arrives I'm going to add tesa/ipa, so that's probably when I'll take another look at where I stand.
After you get to your goal weight, I've heard that if you keep pushing reta too high, the body struggles more to hold homeostasis. That's the reason I want to bring my dosage down.

With the tesa and ipa, what result are you aiming for?
Shedding visceral fat.
