Has anyone gotten labs and had your bloodwork get worse?

My glucose, A1C, Triglycerides, and cholesterol improved on Tirzepatide, 8 weeks now. I can't really tell if anything is worse.

Some things that were already not optimal did not improve.

The biggest change is glucose, from 106 to 83, I think that took me from borderline pre-diabetic to normal, which is a big deal I think that is a fairly dramatic change, at least on paper. That is the lowest my glucose has ever been, since... I can't even remember when, but I have the labs all the way back to 2019 and it was 98 back then and I was 30 lbs. lighter than I am now and in better shape physically than I am now, by far.

Yes, I limit my water now daily, eat a lot of salty foods and hope for the best.

Tried the unflavored electrolytes but can’t stomach them and any sweeten drink is out of a question (could never drink this stuff and tastes to me even worse than unflavored…)

In reality, my dose is still too high but can’t do anything about it as I’m part of a clinical trial and my dose was already reduced from 12 to 9mg….

Once the trial is over I will have more control over dosing and hopefully things will level off then…

I put a pinch of Redmond or Baja Gold salt in my water, I drink avg. 5 500ml bottles a day, spring water, I stopped drinking distilled water.

I use just a tiny bit of Celsius drink to put flavor in my water.

See below.

My sodium levels have been low the last two BT. I was drinking way to much water and flushing good stuff out. Been drinking Gatorade Zero or 1/2 packet of Liquid IV. Both 250mg. Doing 1/2 Liquid IV is 250mg too. I can go whenever I want for my next BT.

Hyponatremia is an absolute horrible state. I had to go the emergency room once because of it. Made me start learning about electrolytes.

Only been on Reta for 2 weeks, but just had a Dr. appt this morning. BP was perfect, HR was the same as last time. Waiting on the lab results for the blood still. I'm hoping my follow up in August will show some improvement in my cholesterol, I really wanna stop taking a statin.
