Has the idea of earning a peptide certification ever crossed anyone's mind? A handful of online programs exist for this. I hold a CPHT – ADV, though that credential is strictly pharmaceutical in nature. It isn't medical, and to be clear, my only motivation for pursuing something like this is personal education plus being able to answer questions for people who may come to me. All the material available out there genuinely fascinates me, and I'd really like to hear whether anyone has obtained a degree or certificate of any sort.

Thanks !!!😊

We've gone through the different choices out there.

Mainly the ones that come with CMEs.

A number of them require you to join the orgs.

I only came across two that let people outside the medical profession attend. There may be others.

ABACT Peptide Therapy Course - $1,500 (a lower-priced option exists, though I'm not sure it would fit what you need)

Metabolic Mentor University Peptide Revolution Course - $3,000

If getting a cert as a pahrm tech were my goal, ABACT would likely be my pick.

It lines up better with whatever you end up doing next.

Should you go with one, please tell us how it went!!

I already hold the Advanced - Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht-ADV.)

I'm simply curious whether anyone here has pursued a peptide certification.

Mostly this would be for my own learning and experience. With so much material floating around , I'd really like to enroll in a focused course, so I could keep all of the knowledge within reach and feel confident enough to assist others later on who have questions and aren't sure where to begin.

I wasn't trying to offend you, and I'm familiar with what a Cpht-ADV entails.

That took serious effort and a real time commitment on your part! I'm with you 100% that formal peptide courses and certifications are necessary—ones that aren't just [[Q1]] or sourced from reddit.

My wording should have been clearer; I ought to have said Medical Provider.

None taken whatsoever!! 💝-

Figured I ought to explain, for anyone who might not have known, what a Cpht-Adv actually is.

And I'm with you — it's tough to accept guidance from a person whose whole argument is "I know because I googled it 😂"

If you come across a course, I'd love to know! Education has been one of the few lifelong passions I've had, alongside just a handful of other special interests. I'll be watching this thread.

I mentioned 2 options earlier:

ABACT Peptide Therapy Course - $1,500 (a lower-priced option exists, though I'm unsure whether it would suit what you're looking for)

Metabolic Mentor University Peptide Revolution Course - $3,000

This certification is going to explode in popularity, and before long every influencer and their mother will be holding one.

It reminds me of what happened with CPT credentials, when out of nowhere it seemed like everyone had become a "Certified Trainer."

The entry requirements read:

Only licensed healthcare practitioners are eligible to enroll in the Peptide Therapy Certification program. A4M or International Peptide Society Membership required for certification.

Assuming you tick those boxes, why not? Certification training of this sort usually costs about that much. (See Hertoghe Medical School).

Tracking down the peptide articles that grabbed me, and digesting them, took roughly three months. That is 150 to 200 hours, though I was never precise about logging the time. Weighed against the price of the course, it works out the same as $15 for each hour. Fair.

Personally I would have skipped it, since I enjoy training far less than digging through the scientific literature.

So long as it also covers diagnosis and prescribing, it sounds thorough.
