Good morning, everyone, writing from SW Florida. While hunting for GLP-1 reviews, I came across this site. Really happy that happened. As for me, I've now spent 6 weeks on a GIP/GLP-1/GCG, and this past Friday I took my second 4mg dose. No complaints so far. Down 13lbs, and tomorrow I step on the scale for my weekly check. Before signing up, I browsed the site this morning, and I'm eager to read and pick up more.

That’s incredible. I’ve been using RT for roughly 4 weeks and have dropped around 14 pounds. Really happy I came across this forum for my sources. Best of luck
Appreciate it — I'm glad I came across this site too. Before starting Reta I read plenty of material on-line, but what's here teaches me a lot more. This morning the scale caught me off guard: somehow 1 pound came back. I assumed bumping up to the 4mg dose would knock off a bit more. Nothing about how I eat has changed. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

wow, that's not something I've run into yet. I'm up to injection number 5 now and the trend is still upward. My plan is to move to 4mg next sunday 🤞

I hopped on the scale this morning, just 1 day after the last time, which goes against 1 of my own rules, and I was down another 3lbs. That puts me at 16 lost, now sitting at 199. 175 is what I'm aiming for, though anywhere near that would satisfy me. Large shirts actually fit me now, and I own quite a few.

SWFL is where it's at! I came down in December, though unfortunately I'll be heading back to Boston before long. As for me, tirz has been my companion since Sept 24, and honestly it's worked like a miracle drug. Over the last 2 months I've started exploring other peptides, using them to add strokes to my fresh canvas.

By the SRQ airport code, I'm guessing Sarasota. I'm located further south, around the PC/PG area. Lived here for ages, and the place has transformed massively.

A quick question from a beginner. When you buy product from any source, what does "Kit" refer to?

Edit: From what I can tell, a kit appears to be 10 vials.

If I'm wrong, anyone feel free to set me straight, but my understanding is that it refers to the product being offered in groups of 10.

Right, I'm located a little farther north, in Bradenton. Not long ago I spent some time in Bonita — quite a snug little place. I can picture what you mean about how much it's changed. I attended high school in south Florida, back when a random grove or cow patch could sit right beside a mall. On my most recent visit, though, almost every piece of land had been built up — stretching from the ocean all the way to the Everglades.

The place has definitely transformed a great deal. I was down there for work after Hurricane Charlie hit in '04, then again following Irma in '17, and most recently in '22 after Ian. Lee and Collier were where I spent most of my time, though I also put in a decent amount of work in PC & PG. As a big Braves supporter, I'm really hoping to catch one of their pre-season games before long.

When your weight bumps up a bit in the middle of things, don't let it get you down — that's completely normal. Cutting your calories way back is the absolute worst move you could make. I switched from Tirzepitide to Retatrutide not long ago, and for 3 weeks the scale didn't budge at all, then suddenly I lost 5 pounds in a single week. On top of that, I've changed how I track my weight: instead of once a week, I now weigh myself every day around the same time, then average out the 7 days each Wednesday. It might not suit everyone, but it keeps me accountable and shows me which days I need to push a little harder.

Yeah, hurricanes sure are entertaining. I stuck around through every one of them, and around here Charlie was a real bastard. For the Ft Myers Beach region, Ian was absolutely miserable. The past few years have brought far too many of them. I still haven't visited the Braves' new spring training facility in the N Port/Venice area, though my kids have gone. From what I hear, it's great. Every now and then we head to Charlotte Sports Park for the Rays. As for the weight, I'm not concerned, I got on the scale the next day and lost another 3, bringing the total to 16lbs. These days I seem to be dropping 3lbs per week. My daughter resides in the outskirts of Atlanta and runs her own hair salon. That's too wild for me.

Is the salon she goes to located in Tucker?

Nope, I'm around Smyrna. I've visited just 1 time.

What a pleasant region. I had it in mind that a friend's mother relocated to Delray Beach, which isn't in SWFL. There's a likeness between you and her.

My first visit to Delray Beach really opened my eyes: one street had homes worth millions, while the very next street had houses valued at just hundreds.

That's the one who brings me my food. The photo's outdated. They sort of aim downward, but it's still enjoyable.

Fairly standard. Miami, Tampa and a few other big ones are harsh. Near the water, it's excellent, move a bit inland and it gets pretty bad. My parents spent a long time in Madeira Beach, I was there for a while and it isn't that way. St Augustine is my top place in Florida, if you've gone, I suggest it. Usually we head there 1 time per year.

It really comes down to how close you are to the water

Much of South FL follows that pattern. Moving east to west, you get narrow bands of affluent, impoverished, lower middle, middle class, and upper middle class areas
