Hey everyone, could use some guidance

1. For general wellness perks such as skin and hair, where’s the ideal spot to inject GHK-CU?

2. What’s a good starting dose? I’ve come across wildly different recommendations—one source suggested 1mg daily with 5 days on and 2 off, while others recommend just half of that.

Every day I use 2mg, which comes from a KLOW blend. After going through 3 vials without a break, I pause for roughly 4 weeks. My usual injection site is the abdomen, though since GHK-Cu by itself causes a burning sensation, switching to the glutes could reduce how much you feel it.

Where you inject really isn't a big deal. My routine: 1.75 mg each day for 6-8 weeks (I'm on KLOW, so I work out the dose to hit that amount of GHK-cu). After that, a 6 week washout. Two cycles finished so far. One more thing—GHK-Cu by itself tends to sting.

jinx, you owe me a diet coke.

I only inject into belly fat. When there isn't much there, you can pinch the skin or aim for the love handles. As others have said, a slight burning sensation comes and goes within seconds, but it's not bad enough to stop you from doing it.

Many individuals grow weary of the sting from stomach injections and switch to the love handles, reporting improved results there.

If it's just ghkcu on its own, no blend, what's the amount then — still 1.75mg, or 1mg?

Usually I’ll inject 2 mg into my stomach — when I actually remember, which ends up being around 3-4 days per week. It’s ghk-cu, not glow or klow. I run it for 8 weeks, then take a break.

If the goal is specifically to promote hair growth on the scalp, does the injectable version work, or is the cream the only viable option?

injecting is the way to go mate, creams are a waste of time based on what i've heard?

To me, Sub-q is just Sub-q — pick whatever spot is easiest to reach and feels fine. My wife prefers glute injections; I go with the abdomen since it's accessible for me.

For my 100mg GHK-cu, I had to take it at face value as 100 mg. I combine it in one vial with 20 mg KPV, using 2 ml of BAC for reconstitution. The GHK-cu gets 3 ml to recon, then I put 1 ml extra BAC into the vial prior to adding both. My dose is 12 units, which ought to be exactly 2 mg. Even if the vial has extra, and GHK-cu is known for that, I'd top out at 4 mg.

This is our initial cycle, so we'll likely do 8 weeks on, then 4 off.

Today was my first day — 2mg, injected into the love handle. Zero stinging whatsoever, couldn't have gone better 👌🏻

UPDATE... as I mentioned before, there was NO stinging right when I injected, but roughly 1hr afterward a little sting kicked in, and 15hrs on it's still stinging at the spot?

is that something that can occur? for my next shot I'll dilute it with extra BAC water to take it down a notch

Yes, that's typical.

I've come across accounts of the stinging persisting for 24h.

In my case, it was 12h.

I divided the dose between opposite sides of my belly button. No stinging.

After 1 week, I returned to one injection. The sting was gone.

Roughly 20 daily shots at 2mg each (that's 1 GLOW vial). Like you, I figured there'd be nothing to feel. About 2 hours in, a faint dull ache showed up. It hung around for 12-24 hours. Easy to tune out unless I focused on it. Location made no difference. I moved the site around: right thigh/glute, then across the belly, then left thigh/glute. Got slight bruising from 2 of the stomach pins. Every so often I also took zinc and Zyrtec by mouth.

Basically, yeah.

My first pins were done with a 4mm needle inside a pen. The burn hit right away, then gradually faded over the course of the day. By the next day, a small welt would show up, though it wasn't sore. Two days out, there was zero pain and the spot was barely noticeable.

After hearing that 6mm caused less stinging, I switched up to that size. At first, that held true. But eventually the same sting returned, matching the 4mm pin, and it stuck around for the same amount of time.

Location made no difference for me either; every site gave the same outcome. These days I mostly use Glutes. Reaching them is a little awkward, but a pen makes it manageable.

The upside (and yes, there is one!) is that a few weeks in, my welts, stinging and pain have dropped a lot. Maybe it's the 6mm pin, maybe my body has adapted, or maybe it's simply me who has adapted. When I focus on it, I can still notice it. But it interferes with my day far less than before.

Glad if that's useful 🙂

I appreciate the response — knowing you've all dealt with the same problems puts me at ease. I figured I'd dodged it without any sting …lol

Oh, one more thing I left out: the needle I use is 1/2 inch. There are those who claim deeper is preferable
