GHK-CU side effects?

I set the pen to 15 units, pin with the needle, and count 5 clicks. I pin again next to it, count another 5 clicks, and so on.

I've always had them. I thought that's just how bruises end up looking. But the bruises went away with the NaCl, and the dark spots appeared a few days after the injection.

A true researcher! I salute you 🫡 I want that glass skin you see in all the K-Dramas! How long did it take before you got your vampire glow?

The NaCl tip from you really helped out! 🥰 Yesterday I did my first pin of GHK-Cu + NaCl BAC and the ISR was much better; thank you! Multipin technique is splitting your dose units by 3 and injecting in different sites, just to clarify? Similar question to above, how long did it take before you started seeing discoloration/spots?

Was a month or so.

Also when I go to scratch my face I expect my fingernails to catch on the skin and the just slide on through…

Girl says I always had smooth skin but it sure wasn’t that smooth

I've been taking GHK-CU 2mg for a week now, usual sting when injecting like other poeple. However, I seem to get gassy (burping) after taking it and also waking up with sore throat. Do you think these are related? Does anybody else get something like this?

Where are you pinning? Belly? I can’t stand it in my belly so I do it in my glute and the stinging is way less noticeable!

Always have these ISR, after a month or so my body adjusted I feel like, sometimes I get itchy still the day after, but not that big skin reaction throughout the first 2-3 weeks

Yes in the belly, the sites seem to stay red for a few days and also I've got some bruising. Do you think this is normal?

I pin about 4" below the navel, 2" either side of centerline.

It would feel like I got shot by a BB gun if I pinned it in the usual area around the navel. I found a few inches lower there is significantly less pain.

I actually bought my first pens because I wanted to inject the GHK-Cu in the glute, but couldn't imagine the contortions necessary to do so with a diabetic syringe. But by the time the pens had arrived, I discovered this area was much less painful. So I just use the pen there.

Another plus of pens, I dilute the GHK-Cu across the vial and cartridge with an additional 3ml BAC water, which may help minimize the sting. I reconstitute the powder with 3ml, draw out 1.5ml, move it to the cartridge, and then take an additional 3ml, and split it, 1.5ml into each the cart and vial. End result is 100mg GHK-Cu split across 6ml of liquid.

Better? I dunno. Don't feel like I've been shot by a BB anymore at least.

As to the OP's question, no, no odd side effects of GHK-Cu; just the skin feels way more resilient, supple, and people comment my wrinkles are a lot less noticeable. I'm also doing collagen in my coffee, micro-needling and 4% GHK-Cu topical cream. I still have a turkey neck, though...

Yeah I think I realise I'm coming down with the flu at the same time as I started GHKUC... just a coincidence! I know cause my wife has it too.

What micro-needling are you doing? Sorry about the neck 🙁 I think I'll end up there (hopefully!)

If you are under 40s, GHK-Cu can also trigger hair fall.

Can you please elaborate or where you've heard this? My understanding is that it would boost hair health? My understanding is that taking it topically can be similar to MIN which can cause hair to fall out - as part of starting a new hair cycle - but not as permanent hair loss.

I'm using a 0.2mm micro needle roller I found on Amazborg. I use it immediately after a very hot shower, then apply the 4% GHK-Cu cream (also Amazborg). I hate giving them money but they make it so damned convenient...

In all honesty, the neck looks better. Maybe a 20% improvement? Also doing the stretching exercises I've seen posted on this site.

Yeah pinning right before bed. I've always had a history of bad acid reflux, I've had antacids at my bedside table since I was a teenager

I would suggest either pinning in the morning when you’re up and moving around or stop eating much earlier in the evening.

I’ve read of a lot of people who dilute it more and it makes sense that this would help lessen that sting/ pain. I’ve never been shot by a BB gun but I can imagine it is a similar pain! I wonder why this happens?!

I dilute the GHK-Cu extra because of what I had read on here. It definitely helped, but what helped more was pinning around until I found an area that just didn't have as much sensitivity. Lots of people swear by the glutes but what I found works for me.

I had understood the sting was caused by the copper ions, but it seems there's more to it than just that; this is what ai had to say about it:

AI Overview

GHK-Cu injections hurt primarily because of the copper ion, which naturally irritates local nerve endings and mast cells when introduced to subcutaneous tissue. The discomfort is often worsened by acidic pH levels, concentrated solutions, or rapid injection speeds that distend the skin. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

The burning and stinging sensation is a highly common and expected reaction that usually subsides within a few minutes to hours. The specific factors driving this pain include: [1]

    • Copper-Driven Tissue Irritation: Free copper ions can temporarily stimulate pain-sensing nerves (nociceptors) and trigger immune cells to release localized histamine. [1]
    • pH and Concentration: Reconstituted GHK-Cu can have an acidic pH, and highly concentrated doses will cause a much sharper, localized sting. [1, 2, 3]
    • Osmolality Mismatch: The concentration of dissolved particles in the formula may not perfectly match your body's interstitial fluid, causing temporary cellular disruption. [1, 2, 3]

I've done my belly before and my love handle... never again, stang like a mother fucker... worst pain and massive bruise that hung around for weeks. Now I pin my upper thigh straight into the fatty spot and occasionally I feel a slight tingle but nothing like the stomach area. My god if I had to endure that daily I'd never pin GHK again 😂

I just pinned a 2mg dose with .4mg KPV blend in the thigh...Then I pumped another .5mg of KPV right on top of that...I'm wild like that... 👍 😎

My wife is interested in GHK-CU, 50F. What’s a good starting dose and frequency? I’ve seen different things online.
