Getting the copper peptide right for crown thinning - dosing, serum, microneedling

Thinning at the crown is my problem. Boooo! The hive mind is what I need: what is the best way to run AHK-Cu?

From what my reading has shown, this one goes on topically rather than being pinned sub-q the way GHK-Cu is. Adding it to my stack is on my wish list! When AHK-Cu arrives as a kit, is it lyophilized powder or already liquid? Is a recon needed, and if so, with what? The advice I have seen is to mix it into a store bought serum and drop that on the scalp. Any serum recommendations? Would making my own be better? What mg of AHK-Cu per ml of serum? Is the vial popped and ground up with a mortar and pestle? How crucial is sterility at that point?

And lastly, microneedling. Roller you work by hand? Stamp? Electronic pen? My eyeballs are rolling around from trying to gather the scoop, so I need the knowledge straight from the source!
 
Following! my thinning hair is stressing me out, though that is apparently bad for the hair too- lol!! Topical AHK-CU is already with me and I am waiting to buy cosmetic/topical GHK-CU. A source in another community gives the hair serum protocol as 0.3 gms of AHK-CU plus 1.8 gms of topical GHK-CU into 30 ml of HA serum. Hair toppers have been purchased as well 😭

First things first, the stressing has to stop. More stress means faster fallout. Lol. Easier said than done, I know. But seriously, if losing hair worries you, look into things like minoxidil too. And when the hair loss comes from being on a glp1 and dropping weight, the good news is it returns once your weight stabilizes. Bump your protein intake up as well.
 
Cosmetic AHKCu powder goes into BAC water in a brown bottle for me. What comes out is quite watery but okay. A little glicerine is added to thicken it up. Watery is fine either way. An eye dropper puts some onto my scalp and I rub it in by hand. Bedtime is when this happens. On waking, minoxidil from Costco goes on. None of these get rinsed off.

You're onto it! Would love to hear the results and see how you go. Correct me if I'm wrong here... Adding less bac water would stop it being so runny.
 
My AHK-Cu serum recipe:

Yields 60ml total:

| Ingredient | % | Volume |

|———————————————|

| Propylene Glycol | 60% | 36 ml |

| Ethanol (190 proof) | 30% | 18 ml |

| Distilled Water | 10% | 6 ml |

Dosing AHK-Cu between 1-3%:

  • at 1% you need 0.6g
  • at 2% you need 1.2g (this is the suggested start)
  • at 3% you need 1.8g

The order matters: AHK-Cu dissolves into the PG first, ethanol goes in second, water last.

It lives in my fridge

Do you mean the India ones or the K-beauty ones (not the grey pep vendors)?

Stressing is what I'm trying to avoid. Honestly, the whole lot gets shaved off before I let myself stress about it! Which HA serum though?

Asking where their cosmetic AHKCU powder comes from was my plan, but the red banner is on them. Causing them a problem is the last thing I want. You people have handed me another avenue to look into.

Ordinary HA serum gets a lot of votes! or the Cosmedica HA + B5 serum

Yep, the ordinary HA serum mixes well with everything and simply makes life easier. It is something I have used before.

Plenty of grey vendors carry raw ghk-cu and ahk-cu too. Have a word with your vendor about it. Selling it in MGs or as a kit usually means the lyophilized stuff. Listed by the gram, and it is the raw stuff.
 
Has anyone here dermastamped with AHK? A GB with injectable AHK kits is what I am looking at, and whole-body hair stimulation is not really something I want, though for scalp dermastamping it might be the safer pick 🤷‍♀️
 
A while back I gave it a go for a short stretch, but it hurt like hell! Keeping it going was the plan, but there was bleeding and it was expensive. Hopefully more replies land on this thread since I am interested too.
