Genetek pH Question

A friend of mine is placing an order for Genetek Bac water from India, and they've asked whether I'd like to join in on a bulk buy. I'm wondering if anyone here happens to know what the pH of this brand is. According to Google, it's supposedly 5.7, though I haven't been able to track down where that figure comes from. Has anyone here done their own testing on it? Most likely I'll join the purchase and test it once it shows up, but I figured I'd ask the community first.

Thanks.

Tested it with a lab grade pH meter and the pH came out good. No issues with this brand so far.

Thanks for getting back to me. The bulk order is done. One thing I wanted to check: once a bottle is opened, do you draw only the amount required and discard the remainder, or do you move it into a sterile vial? Either way, it still looks like a reasonable deal financially.

Anything left over gets discarded.

Has it arrived and have you run any tests on it yet? I'm considering picking some up too, because sourcing it within the EU is simpler than going with Hospira.

I'll give you an update once I have it. For roughly 6 days now, it's been held up in customs. Should it clear, it won't take long to arrive. I already picked up a good testing kit.

If I go with genetek, should I transfer the bac water out of the plastic ampule and into a glass vial?

My order made it through customs after 20 days, got opened and checked, and somehow was cleared for delivery to me — 100 vials of 10mL genetek bc water are now in my hands.

I tested the pH on one of them after opening it. Came out at 6.1. For me that's acceptable, even if I'd rather see it below 6. Either way, I'm pleased. Reconstituting with it will happen soon, and I'll likely only post an update if something goes wrong.

I've ordered a handful of these too, and I'd also like to find out. I suppose that's the case.

I picked up 10mL KS Tek sterile vials, and those are what I plan to use.
