Every health question I have turns into a full research project — it's a habit, and that's why I'm here.
A couple of years back the scale read 223 pounds; after GLP-1s, endless trial and error, and far more hours in the literature than I'd care to admit, it settled around 130 pounds. Somewhere along the way the weight loss turned into something else — an obsession with peptides, hormones, metabolism, cognition, recovery, and the question of why the body insists on being more complicated than it needs to be. You'll often catch me chasing rabbit holes at 2 a.m. when I should probably be sleeping. Learning is part of why I'm here, along with comparing notes, sharing what's worked and what hasn't, and sparing someone else the six hours of paper-reading needed to answer something that could have been explained in ten minutes.
Good to be among you all.
